Good morning to Ya!
Well today was a "Hawk" day for sure... I was out in the lower field, walking along the edge when I came across this Hawk as it was hunting a big patch of brush.
Β Β Since I only had my 300mm lens set up on it, I snuck in close. I was able to get really close to it, till I knew if I got any closer it would fly off. I shot a bunch of pics of this one scanning that brush patch. I t was so intense on hunting, it paid me no mind at all. Enjoy the next 3 other pics I'm posting of it

Fantastic shot! I shoot birds (with my camera that is) that way, zoom with your legs a little at a time, shoot, repeat!

Hi, no ...Β I do use the function from my camera software in post processing...when shooting bird pics, I tend to shoot a high ISO...helps me have a quick shutter if one comes out in a shadow or low light position. this day I was in the woodline, so that's why it was set at 640. when shooting in a field I usually shoot an ISO of 400 and F8Β to F10Β for the stops... if they are active and moving aboutΒ I go as high as 800Β or 1000Β I want a fast shutter to freeze the bird and it's details

Yes I've was at Fan Expo 2020, I've going through and posting the photos taken during that weekend. It was a three day thing.
After I'm done looking going through them, I plan on getting some more wildlife photos and some more plane photos too.Β
