Description
Good morning to Ya!
Well today was a "Hawk" day for sure... I was out in the lower field, walking along the edge when I came across this Hawk as it was hunting a big patch of brush.
Β Β Since I only had my 300mm lens set up on my camera, I snuck in close. I was able to get really close to it, till I knew if I got any closer it would fly off. I shot a bunch of pics of this one scanning that brush patch. It was so intent on hunting, it paid me no mind at all. Enjoy the couple of pics I'm posting of it.

Good Morning!
Thank you! yup years of practice in finding birds in the trees from a distance really pays off in times like this.

Birds of prey have such sharp eyes (infact, all birds have excellent vision because of thier pecten oculi).do you observe thier behaviour too, apart from clicking those excellent photographs? π
