Captured this pic of a Tree Swallow this morning. This is the first pic of one for this year. I love these birds... they can be almost a deep purple or a brilliant blue, all depends on how the light hits their feathers.I hope to get more images of these,during the summer, as they were building a nest in one of the boxes I put up at this field.

this one is perched on a wood tomato stake that I put up in the field. I place them all around the field so they have a place to perch while hunting insects. I put this one up near a big tree so I could hide behind it and when they landed on it.. great pic opportunity!

Hi , Yeah they look like something off of a jet plane. I love watching them in flight.. they make some wicked maneuvers.. Masters of the flight, these birds are for sure!
