HI, I went down to the old railroad tracks and walked them for about a mile today. Usually I can find some cool birds and maybe a deer or 2 in the woods and swamp along one side of them.Today all I found was a Morning Dove, which pic I'll post next. It was a nice walk anyways.


there is no snow because the other day we had temps in the upper 50's and got 2 inches of rain, which melted it all away.

Railroads are very evocative. Abandoned doubly so.

Hi, Yup that they are. this line is used only for a few trips each month to a cement plant... so it looks in tough shape, but is still in use. What I like is that with not much activity on this stretch, the animals and birds are always close by and I can get pretty close to them without making to much noise.
