My mod of ahoka's foo_ncmpcpp skin. This mod adds some new panels, changes up some of that tags that are displayed and includes full last.fm playcount sync support. There are a few minor issues with this skin that are bugging me.. but, they should go unnoticed by most. For those who need help installing this please use the readme.updated .fcl

Notes:
If you downloaded this before it had a readme on gist download it again. I also failed to include all of the required fonts at one point.

- 09-03-12 | fixed an error in the script with the [+m] button
- 11-03-12 | added more grouping options and fixed some clipping issues on the [vis] page
- 15-03-12 | minor text fixes and pixel alignment
- 30-03-12 | switched from Profont to ProggyTinySZ also removed all smoothing from fonts and cleaned up a few other things
- 01-05-12 | updated readme / fixed problem with 'DARK.COLOR.3' global variable
- 10-05-12 | added a few more grouping options for el_playlist (should be easier to add custom groupings)
Today (01-04-12) I decided to do a fresh install of foobar and follow my installation instructions to see where all of the problems in the comments were coming from. It seems like many of the problems stem from foobar being installed in non portable mode. Installing it in portable mode should fix anything strange. It is also advised to make sure that you are running foobar as an administrator.
Update: since da no longer accepts archives that contain executables I will simply link the most recent .fcl in the description.

I re-installed foobar and it worked, then I applied a fresh copy of the mod and it worked, until I hit one of my media keys. Now it's back to playing random songs in the playlist instead of going to the next song in the album. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Two small questions
How do I change the color of the text for the album artist in the playlist?
As well as the text for album artist and title on the top (With [bio][lyr][vis])?

On the left side of the playlist, where it shows all the playlists I've loaded, can I change that to list all of my artists in the playlist?Β
And the search bar doesn't seem do anything, how is it supposed to work?

did you add songs to your library or just play them from playlists? that would mess up the search bar
as for the left pane you could replace it with whatever you want but i would just recommend making auto playlists based on a search such as "%path% HAS "D:\allmahmusicks"

Well how my music library is set up, is whenever I download new albums as folders of mp3 files, I open them all up in tracklist order in iTunes, so sorting the library by Date Added has the most recent albums I've downloaded at the bottom. Then, I use a program to export the entire library as an m3u playlist file, and then load that playlist file in foobar.Β
So foobar pretty much just displays the playlist made from itunes. But for convenience's sake, having an alphabetical list of all the artists in the playlists on the sidebar would be nice.Β

hmm i don't understand the need for itunes since foobar can do all of the sorting for you. but ya you can replace the playlist switcher with like a library tree view or whatever you want.
just rclick top bar > splitter settings > make note of the values for playlists splitter
go into preferences>display>columns ui>layout
remove the playlist switcher (via right click) then add the panel you want
rclick top bar > splitter settings > rename new panel to playlists and put in the values you made note of earlier

Ok, so I got it looking likeΒ this Β now, I kept the playlist switcher panel really small just because I still need to switch, and I inserted the Album List panel. Is there any way to change the colors of that panel, so that the background is grey and the text is white so that it blends with everything else? I can't seem to find it in the panel settings

In my top bar there's a gap between the song title and who is featuring in the song. Those featuring is in the %artist% part of my tags which I'm sure is following your setup. This also happens with albums with various artists.

since you changed the font you'd have to adjust the spacing under '//title / feat. artist'Β t_y in the script

Quick question, I just installed foobar 1.2.9 yesterday and added this mod. Theres 2 problems for me.
I can't drag songs onto the interface, it just has the circle with the dash through it as if I'm not allowed to, I am in Run as Admin mode and did install it as portable, I'm also on Windows 8.
2nd
I figured I would just hit Cntrl+O and open some songs, but everytime I do so my previous selections already on foobar are wiped with the newly selected songs replacing them, therefore I have to add my whole library, I can't add a single song, which is quite counterproductive.
Can you help me please? I really like your skin, its simply amazing I really appreciate it. Thanks!

the scrollbar comes from your vs > i use pix_ (it is in my gallery)
as for the playcount sync error you probably need to uncheck safe mode in the settings for wsh panel mod that or run as admin. i really don't know what causes that error as i've never had it.
