autohotkey is what people use to do stuff like that. here is an example script where you can press Win + H to disable and Win + S to re-enable captions/titlebars on windows of your choosing: pastebin.com/raw.php?i=gDvBakHβ¦
i use a tiling windows manager (bug.n) which does this automatically.

hi. i've tried to change the explorerframe.dll to the x64 one included twice, once earlier, and just now on a fresh installation. anywho the issue is that since changing the dll, the explorer doesn't work whatsoever. if i try to open explorer in any form, it tells me the server execution failed and there is nothing i can do about it. any idea why this is?

are you putting the x64 dll into syswow64 and the x86 into system32?

ahhhhh Just so you know for future reference.
On a 64bit system aka you have both a SysWOW64 and a System32,
SysWOW64 == 32 bit dlls.
System32 == 64 bit dlls.
"Windows x64 has a directory System32 that contains 64-bit DLLs (sic!). Thus native processes with a bitness of 64 find βtheirβ DLLs where they expect them: in the System32 folder. A second directory, SysWOW64, contains the 32-bit DLLs. The file system redirector does the magic of hiding the real System32 directory for 32-bit processes and showing SysWOW64 under the name of System32."
Though I get your simple naming scheme I would like to inform you that it is wrong and could confuse people who install themes without reading the comments.

Great idea having aero toggling the buttons! Does this theme support the use of shadows?
