Appearance:
From a distance, or even up close if in spring, Aredhel appears to be a doe, down from his light pelt to his lithe build with soft curves. If he has any muscle, it doesn't exactly show, and only scent, genitalia, his rack and his shockingly male voice tell the truth of his gender. With that aside, while he may appear like a doe, Ared is decidedly male, and moves with a masculine grace, his posture just as regal as any Lord's, save when he's around royalty. Then he humbles himself as expected, but the moment royal eyes are not watching the mischievous bard, he's back to his proud carriage.

History: He held the hopes of a Lord, and let him down before he had even opened his eyes. Born as pale as cream, with a filly's delicate structure, he had not yet stood upon his hooves 'ere his sire and dam passed him along to a commoner pair, washing their hooves clean of his wretchedness. Of them, his true parents, he has no memory nor inkling that they share blood. The parents he knew were the gentle Cassiopeia and the proud Loghan, stern yet kind commoners who did not disregard their 'son' for his coat nor build. They raised him lovingly, and perhaps it was his dam's gentle voice singing to him in the dark of the night that sparked his own song, but as he grew the young colt took after his 'mother', his trembling voice gradually steadying, deepening as the seasons passed. When he came of age at ten, a dark Lord approached and requested his presence, offering him a position as an entertainer to the Lord's fawns and does. Surprised, Aredhel accepted the offer, and moved from his dam's small glade to that of the Lord Dòmhall. From the start it was a strange relationship between himself and his employer; although the dark Lord was aloof and rather cold to him, 'ere Ared spoke to another stag Dòmhall would grow incensed, possessive of the pale bard. Such confuses the young stag, and leaves him to walk on broken glass around the unpredictable lord, who, much to Aredhel's ignorance, is in truth his sire-born.
