Words are just ideas of the world which are built into the very nature of the language we use, and of our ideas of logic, and of what makes sense altogether. Words are abstract symbols, who does no more than pointing to the real. They are not real. Every single human being has it's own thought assosiations connected with every word, and do mistake them with what really Is. This make a lot of misunderstanding between us, because even though the words are the same, everyone have so different and individual meanings and thought- worlds. But the language can also create bridges between us..And, I think the most valuable have to be the communication of silence. The wordless communication.

go to your local library, they usually have a huge collection of water color boks... I take them to work and copy the pertinent pages so I always have them on hand....

Indeed. Language influences thought but only to an extent. The most profound experiences in life cannot be adequetely conveyed though our language or, indeed, by any language.

A word only has meaning because we give association to it, I could have a completly different definition for a word than someone else, my positive thoughts on a word could be anothers negative...

I get a sense of connectivity from this drawing...in my experience once the limitations of language are recognised greater communication can be achieved. There were many studies done also that show that communication is acheived mostly through body language or inflection of the voice...
