Ok, not really. This shot shows the underside of the saucer and navigation dome. I'm kind of amazed I could glue the saucer to the neck successfully. The saucer is pretty heavy and most of it is well forward of the neck!

That is a big damn model if I may say so. And she looks even more elegant with LED lights and circuitry installed.

Yes indeed - and my lighting/wiring skills are terrible, which is what scared me away from putting LEDs in her!

All I'm using are pre programmed LED circuit cards and automotive LED lines

really beautiful! as you know i am a big trek fan, so i would notice most flaws, this piece looks perfect! i am just really floored.
yea i could image the saucer is heavy would would be scary to glue to the neck. you pulled it off like an expert!
