Even though they’ve changed affiliation. Their stories are still similar to the ones I gave them when they were part the slenderverse.
I’ve made my own creature inspired by Slenderman named: Tenebrose [Link]
All of my Sages have some sort of mental illness. This makes it easier for Tenebrose to possess and recruit them. Plus it makes it far easier to give them the Tenebris syndrome. If I did not portray the mental illness correctly in the ref, just comment down below. I did some research, but obviously I could never truly know what it’ll be like.

The person starts suffering from headaches and unexplained nosebleeds every once in a while. They start coughing up blood, hallucinations start to appear and they become paranoid. Later they’ll get sick and emotionally unstable.

Father: Sheng Jiang.
Shen was a strict and clever man. He and Li Ming met on a blind date. The two of them had a lot in common and continue to speak with each other afterwards. He fell for Li ming’s beauty and made the first moves. They had Mei-Ling 7 years later. He taught her some kung-Fu moves and some sword fighting techniques with the Miao Dao. When she was missing for 3 years, Shen was a nervous wreck. He still believed she was alive somewhere out there and three years later he was proven right. He got a phone call from an unknown number and it was his daughter on the other end. He is sad that he is unable to know where exactly she is but is glad that he at least gets to hear her voice.

Mother: Li Ming Bao.
Li Ming is a soft-spoken and open hearted person. She is always there for everyone and supports any decisions her husband and daughter makes. When Mei-Ling went missing for three years, Li-Ming always went out for the worst outcome. When she received the call from her daughter, she was relieved to hear that everything was okay with her.

Notable relationships:

Brother figure: Ivan Clinton.
Ivan was the first person to help Mei-Ling out. While Mei is loyal to Tenebrose, she’s also in for whatever Ivan tells her to do. She also views him as the older brother she never had.

Friend: Alejandro Diaz.
Mei saw him more like an annoying little brother figure when she first met him. They soon grew to be friends. Al may be much younger than Mel, but they are able to talk and gossip about anything or anyone.

Friend: Alayah Lorizio.
Mei is able to talk with Alayah whenever she feels down. Alayah may not be able to help much but always likes to listen to her and try to give the best advice she can.

Rival: Valerie Landon.
Mei first met Valerie on a mission. Like her, Val was on the same mission but for Tzelial. The two immediately started a catfight and became sworn rivals. Whenever there is a battle, both of them would want to fight the other.

Short story

For the summer Mei-Ling Jiang decided to work part time as a camp counsellor at summer camp called "Camp Ebon-wood". She was 16 and technically still too young to do most things by herself, so she had a mentor named Emma. The girls became close despite their 5 year age difference. The job would be 2 months long, Mei didn't really mind it that much as she surprisingly enjoyed her time there. At the beginning she did a great job and Emma was surprised that many of the kids just accepted Mei-Ling so easily. Sure Mei could be very critical of everything the kids did wrong, but at least tried not to freak out about it.
A few weeks went by and Mei seemed to get more paranoid and claimed that there was something evil keeping an eye on all of them. The counsellors started to tease her about it, claiming that she just wanted some more attention since being so perfect was not enough for her. Emma on the other hand tried her best to help her. When she realised Mei-Ling was getting sick and started to nosebleed and cough up blood, she tried to convince her friend to go back home. Mei wanted to stay as she wanted to prove to the others that there was something there and she won't leave until the other's saw it too. Emma got worried about the obsession Mei-Ling had with this "thing.
One night, A few kids saw Mei-Ling leaving the campsite in the middle of the night and immediately reported it to the counsellors. All of them screamed for Mei for what felt like hours before calling the police.
Three years later Mei's mom received a call from her. Mei claimed that she was fine and that she should drop her missing person case. She keeps calling her parents at least once a month. Police keep trying to track down her location, but are somehow unable to do so. Her parents are at least glad that Mei is alive, and she never sounds distressed in any of her phone calls. She even sounds happy.

Sage info

Sage’s rank: Berserker assassin.
Reason why she was chosen: Having experience in archery, sword fighting and kung fu. She was a perfect Sage for Tenebrose.

Weapons of choice: Butterfly knives, Miao Dao.

How she kills/harms: She often kills in a rather brutal way. Either amputating a limb to let her victims bleed to death, or slitting their throat nearly beheading them.

Motive for killing: As far as others know, Mei kills because she is told to do so.

Relationship with Tenebrose: Mei is loyal to Tenebrose for the most part. She is at least grateful that she is allowed to talk to her parents from time to time.

Notes/Facts
Mei absolutely adores children and loves spending time with them. She is also one who babysits young Sages.
Mei is probably the third most loyal to Tenebrose from all my Sages.
She knows how to knit. So she often makes knitted dolls for the younger Sages.
Ivan helped her with her alias and outfit. He decided a scarecrow would suit her, mainly because of her stitches.
Her hair was supposed to be half shaved and loose. I thought it would be more tactical for her to have a bun, especially at the field.
The reason why she is allowed to talk to her parents is to avoid people searching through the entire forest. In the three years nobody has heard from her, people would often camp out in the woods. Much to Tenebrose disliking. He killed a lot of them, but that of course caused more people to look for Mei’s body (Assuming she was killed as well). So to end all this Tenebrose allowed her to call her parents.
