some test pages I did into the summer ... I'll redo them cos I'm not pleased at all with them ... it lacks of grace / elegence, and dark flow in too static and heavy ...hope I'll be able to make a black / white comic that is up to my expectations ... BW are my favourite !

I'll agree with you and admit that on the whole the panels individually come out a bit thick and heavy if a little uncertain. This is true in some panels more than others, but my attention was mostly fixed on the intrigue of your style.
It expresses a texture that compels the eyes' constant attention. While that is a positive attribute, it can be a double edged sword. Make sure your focus of each panel is unmistakably distinct.

Actually...I don't think the pages lack grace or elegance, but rather I think they have/ give off this whimsical feeling a lot of comics lack

Huh... interesting... I like the bottom two panels, especially! I remember seeing some other versions of these pages, before. I like the page where she's drawing(?), too!
Some of your faces and stuff remind me a little bit of Hiroaki Samura.

I haven't even thought up a rough idea... or actually, I guess I have thought of a couple of Rin and Manji, but neither seem particularly appetizing.
I want to do something darker in color palette, something different than what I normally do... something nicer. Hmmm.

I've been pretty crazy busy, but after things die down a bit, I hope to really focus on drawing lots of art trades and other things I wanna draw!

I really enjoy these, Black and white comics are my favourite too.
But I do understand what you mean when you say you think it lacks grace/elegance.
The girl seems to be uncomfortable, and almost robotic in a lot of the panels. The one with her elbows both on the table, holding the cup is the most elegant because she looks at ease.
As for the dark flow, I find that when your more playful with a panel it seems to give it a more mysterious and intriguing quality. Like in the panel where she is writing in some pages and the panel which her face seems to be blended in with the steam from her drink.

yeah, I need more experience to be very at ease with my paneling ...
but I keep the hard work so eventually I'll be happy with my work ^^
