okay, i like zilla, he does not hol;d up to the real king, sorry, man. but i do not understand all the basement dwelling fan-boys(if this offends you, apologies0 who constantly bashit, the only mistake that movie made was hiring planks brother, matt broderick as the lead actor. and not too seem like said fan boy, but it was even less, 14 second from him beaming down to getting vaporized

The only thing I hate more then Zilla or the people who made his film are the bat shit fanboys who defend or even say it's "better" because it's "realistic. There is nothing realistic about giant monster period. And realism is a piss poor excuse to make not make the remake you are PAID to make, instead make something else all together and then call it a remake with none of the traits from the source material. It's like making King Kong a lemur, or Spider-Man just be a man with no powers or the Hulk just a guy who can be killed with one bullet and can't throw shit when angry. It completely misses the point, he doesn't even have his atomic breath, the one constant reminder that Godzilla was originally symbolism for the horrors of nuclear weapons and has kept in all his films even the lighthearted, fun campy ones where he is a good guy.
Anyone who says GINO is a "good" take on Godzilla or that it's "better" are not fans nor have they ever been a fan as far as I'm concerned.
They don't know what makes this franchise so great. They can go fuck themselves.

I think the biggest irony is that the GINO or Zilla (whatever you wanna call him) fanboys fail to realize that they got ripped off. Not just the Godzilla fans, and general movie goers but them as well. You like Zilla? Fine and dandy but guess what? You still paid for a movie ABOUT Godzilla back in 1998 and still got ripped off by instead getting a movie called Godzilla and just having a random monster in there.
It'd be like paying to see a Spider-Man movie and just getting Batman instead. Yes Batman is awesome but...where the hell is Spider-Man? I paid for Spier-Man? Why the hell is Batman even in here? There not even from the same comics let alone the same companies. =/

Your Batman thing is not too far off, Raimi's Spiderman trilogy was so corny and inaccurate, that it might as well been a 60s Batman movie or a parody of the Spiderman comics. Thank Christ for Amazing Spiderman.

because that move was made in japan if the U.S made that or godzilla would win but if they where real the American godzilla would win its stronger and faster (and cooler looking).

Its nowhere near as strong as the Japanese Godzilla. Zilla can't breath radiation, he can be killed by the military, and he is far less experienced. Godzilla as the Japanese have said is a god in comparison to Zilla and most other monsters. He gets stronger whenever he's in water or absorbs radiation, his powers have allowed him to do things like destroy and escape a blackhole etc. Japan's Godzilla from Final Wars was originally intended to have easy win against Destroyah, his 2nd greatest enemy. Zilla has nothing on Godzilla.

No, the reason why the military can't beat Godzilla is because he is virtually invulnerable. He's taken on King Ghidorah's gravity beams, MechaGodzilla's weapons, Destroyah's oxygen destroyer, SpaceGodzilla's corona beam, a point blank meteor impact and still goes on fighting. And no Zill doesn't breath fire he only has power breath which is flammable by certain chemicals.

Please. Zilla would be lucky enough to even scratch Godzilla's nigh invulnerable skin. Not to mention Godzilla has Nuclear pulse and Crimson Spiral ray at his disposal. Zilla's fight with Godzilla went exactly as it should in the movie.

This is Final Wars Godzilla. He's very fast. And it wouldn't make a difference if Zilla was faster, Godzilla's skin is far too tough and heals too quickly for Zilla to do any damage. Let alone fatal ones. If Gigans sickles couldn't kill Godzilla what makes you think Zilla's weaker claws are going to? Plus Godzilla has experience with foes who use speed and uses it against them. There is a reason why Godzilla has maintained his title of King of the monsters.

Zilla claws will not pierce Godzilla's skin. The only monsters that can say they've damaged Godzilla severly are MechaGodzilla, Destroyah, Pre Final Wars Hedorah, Gigan, and Space Godzilla. And Gigan isn't a lizard porcupine hybrid. He's an alien cyborg. This gives me more belief that you don't know what your talking about. Name one instance that Zilla's claws have pierced through anything remotely as tough as Godzilla's hide.

We've already been through this. You're under the delusion that Zilla has a chance of beating Godzilla, when in reality he doesn't. In fact you should be thanking God Zilla lasted as long as he did. If I written the script Zilla would've been killed 12 seconds not 24.
