You're a fool if you think that was good. Toho was so insulted by the American Godzilla that they don't even acknowledge it as Godzilla, its now a new monster named Zilla, that got defeated by Godzilla in 21 seconds without even landing a hit. Thats how lame this monster is. He's not invulnerable, the military can take him, the monster retreats from battles, its more focused on birthgiving than taking its rage on the city, and worst of all he doesn't have his atomic breath! He only has something called power breath, which apparantly flammable.

Well thanks for insulting me. I really needed that. But the american godzilla approached the movie scientifically, like Jurassic Park, the CG was great for the time. It was a good movie regardless of the subject matter.

still. im not saying 98 was a great movie but it was ok and seeing as its a reboot u guys should have wated till part 2. there would have more than likly been monter on monser fights like in the animated series that came after it. more over if u know animle behavyer all that running and seting traps was do tothe pregnacy and after laying all those eggs godzilla was in a weekened state. granted they when overbood with trying to make 98 realistic but i do like te fact that this godzilla can run and jump and didnt look like it hade tumrers in its legs. godzilla vs Hedora was my first godzilla movie so im actualy a fan but that thing with JetJaguar and godzilla vs king kong were harid.

Godzilla vs King Kong is even today is one of the most popular and successful Godzilla movies. The one with Jet Jaguar was alright. And my beef with Zilla is because he didn't breathe fire and wasn't invinceble. I mean Godzilla should be taken out by a powerful weapon or another monster, not the military. Its mainly the reason why enjoy how Godzilla defeated Zilla in a matter of seconds, without even getting hit in Godzilla Final Wars.

no way. 98 is way smartter than that. it would have tunaled under 2000 and attacked from beneath hitting its week spots. from every thing iv seen 98s claws wound be more than able to slice through 2000s hide. 98 might not have won the fight but it would have been FAR more epic

The only smarts that Zilla possessed was running away from the military and eating helicopters. Godzilla has fought over 20 monsters in the past 28 movies and has gained knowledge through battle and experience. Zilla would've tunneled underneath Godzilla and attacked his weak spots? Let's see hear... Godzilla has no weak spots

as im pretty shore i said i have to take into acount the animated show as there not much info on that Godzilla tipe. and 98 was smart. it was pregnant. it was runing so it didnt endager the eggs inside.if not fore them 98 would have kicked there asses. more over in all animles humans included pregnancy makes u weeker. i beleve thats the onlyresone it took that many misals to kill it. and if u watch that seen its not being blown apart or even lost its arm. so that leads me to think its not dead just in a coma. Gigan made 72 bleed a loght. he nearly killed him. pluss i think i recall Angoras making him bleed bake when he was known as Gigantus. like i said befor. it wasent the gratest movie but its not as bad as people make it out to be. im sck of people beeting up on 98. like it or not 98 is a Godzilla and im going to see if theres any way i can get a patition set up to make another movie or a reboot of the 98 movie with a batter buget, actors and storie. infact with ur nearly insiclapedic nolage of Godzilla movies we could work together and make a realy good script

Also, I really do feel your pain about people criticizing the 98 Godzilla movie, I really do. But the way I see it, it isn't a bad MONSTER movie but it is an overall bad GODZILLA movie. Why? It's because the creature (I will refer to it as Zilla from now on) is too different to be Godzilla. Zilla is an interesting monster, I'll admit that but the creature might as well of been something entirely different on its own because everything that Godzilla had, Zilla had the opposite. Godzilla is supposed to be a giant, slowly progressive, atomic ray breathing, nuclear powered, indestructible, horrifying abomination that's supposed to destroy and punish man kind for turning him into the abomination that he is today and let's not forget that if the earth is in trouble, Godzilla is willing to defend it from Aliens and other Mutants because earth is his home. That's who Godzilla is and what I presume he'll always be. On the other hand, Zilla is... almost the complete opposite 
The 98 Godzilla movie wasn't horrible, it was just false advertisement

yah its just every 1 freeked out so bade they didnt even give Tristar a chants to do better with a sequile. thay tried thith the cartoon but still wound up sining it over to Toho who insted of inproving upone it they just shit all over it just like every 1 elce. so thats why no mater what Toho or any 1 elce say 98 and her some from the show r Godzilla's. they were ground braking seeing as no Godzilla hade been made hear sents the Hana Barberra cartoon. it was something bran new. and insted of giving our vertion a chants to grow they killed it. like choping down a tree becoss the firt apple wasent as good and the apples of an older tree. we let Japan do all kinda of stuff with our shose. look at PPG-Z and the new Wolverin and Iron Man animes they poot out. so when we want to make a vertion of something of theres they take it back as soon as they throw a hissy fit. scrue them. they terned Gojida witch was origenaly a way of geting around a law in Japan at the time to bring to life the horror of nuculer war after Hiroshima and Nagasoki and raped it into a cash cow with littal regard for it oragin. so i dont feal so bad about 1 ok move after geting over that. that godzillasauris crap came about latter on. in the begening it was a t-rex. it realy pisses me off. its like people bitching over Transforms movies notbeing just like Gen 1. 9_9' yes i see what ur saying and i apreshiat it. i hope u see were im coming from to.

I see where your coming from, but I do have to point out some things. Godzilla was never a T-rex. True, they did come up with the Godzillasaurus theory during the Heisei series but Godzilla was never said to have been a T-rex. In the 1954 movie, they said that he was a "dinosaur" that hibernated in the mountains for millions of years which allowed him to escape the extinction event (meaning that he could've been a number of dinosaurs). Millions of years later, Japan does nuclear testing and they get what's coming to them

1. Actually, your facts about the T-rex and and Stegosaurus are HALF true. They didn't say in the movie that he was part Stegosaurus and T-rex, they just said that he was a dinosaur. The CREATOR of Godzilla on the other hand is the one who said that he got inspiration form a T-rex and a Stegosaurus. He also said that he got the plates of a Stegosaurus, the body of a T-rex, and the arms of Iguana-don and hence that's how Godzilla was created. In the movie, they never mentioned what kind of Dino he was.

3. I didn't say that the 98 Godzilla movie was beyond repair (like I said, it wasn't an awful movie), it just got left behind because a lot of people felt alienated watching the movie. They walked in expecting Godzilla (considering that the title was Godzilla) and they got something totally different

On a side note, Zilla was running away to protect its eggs (just like you said) but even if it didn't have eggs to protect, it would still be screwed because it is an overall weak monster

i ment a darect reboot of 98. reinstating its stolen Godzilla status. this time making her mor like her son in the series but even tetter still will maintaning the body tipe. and if u think about it but the time were able to do it it will be like 15 to 20 years unless we just hapen to fined a hole loght of people with nothing better to do. if we could organise a bunch of artests and LARPers we could make a 98 Godzilla body sute. if seen vids on youtube were they make not only old school godzilla sutes but the tipe of stilts needed to get the Zilla tipe legs

yah i watched that show when i was little i liked it then but even at that age i was wondering how Zuki could fly with those little wings and being so fat. now its like... why do u have lazer visone like super man... im also with u on his roar and plain bild. im righting a "super senti" fan fic were Gojida calls in Zukon (full grone) Zuki, Zilla, Zillion(her son), Gigantus and (full grone) Minya to fight in inter dimenchenal invation of monster sent buy aliens. the monster sent to the 3 dimentions r Clover, Kizer Gidora and the Gient Claw (look him up XD) in the fan fic the 6 Godzillas r able to take on a human like form to darecly kick the aliens asses and retern to there kiju form to fight the ships and monsters.

Oh please. There are the only monsters capable of piercing Godzilla's hide are MechaGodzilla, SpaceGodzilla, Gigan, Kaiser Ghidorah, and Destroyah. Zilla would have better chance of lasting 10 seconds against MechaGodzilla 1 or 2 than even harming Godzilla. He's just lucky he didn't fight Super Godzilla. And that fight was just fine the way it was.

King Ghidorah controls gravity itself, Mothra is a divine monster, Space Godzilla is Godzilla's most intelligent foe and argueably his ultimate foe (He could just use telekinesis on Zilla and then have his crystals impale Zilla). All these monsters could make Zilla their bitch. The only monsters I think Zilla could probably beat are Baragon, the mantis monster, gabara, and gorosaurus. Any other important monster would kick his ass like it was nobody's business. And FYI, it took 4 of Godzilla's Crimson Spiral Rays for him to defeat SpaceGodzilla, and if he has Biollante's cells, he's practically immortal. Don't under estimate Space Godzilla, when Zilla doesn't even have a long range attack.

For the last time he doesn't breathe fire! The developers even confirmed he didn't he does a "Power Breath" He even does that in Godzilla generations. Get your facts straight! And what Zilla did was just survival instincts not intelligence. Let me show you an example of an intelligent monster. SpaceGodzilla was the 1st monster that wanted to conquer the world instead of just destroy it, he turned an entire city into his fortress, and channeled the city's energy to him in order to make him stronger.
