"Please." the xenos looked up with hopeful violet eyes.Behind that hope was fear, however. The being that stood before it was no longer the faithful student she loved, but she was down there, somewhere.
She had to be.
"Will you accept my friendship?"
Twilight Sparkle grimaced as a thousand memories came rushing to the forefront of her mind. Memories of the old world. Of Equestria. Of her friends and the love they shared.
For years she'd been haunted by the inability to complete the phrase. She'd forgotten what friendship was. Now she remembered.
She finally opened her eyes and Celestia visibly shuddered under her glare.
"I'm sorry, Princess."
The bolt pistol clicked.
"But friendship is magic..."

Am I a heretic for drawing pony/40k? Maybe, but trust me when I say that it's a lot of fun-*BLAM!* This is also fueled heavily by the rule of cool. Should a xenos even be able to touch lovely commissar threads? Probably not, but I think she looks pretty darn awesome in them! If the rule of cool doesn't satisfy you, however, then my condolences. :[

Twilight's considered a sanctioned psyker by the Imperium, so unicorn "magic" isn't what she's referring to.

Oh God Emperor here we go.....If Equis (the planet) was lost in the warp storms in the Age of Strife and found during the the Great Crusade, it could be postulated that ponies were an evolutionary offshoot (not a mutation) of the the original Equids brought to the planet by man. Their ability to use "Magic" would have them filling the "Black Ships" by the droves! They would be useful in all aspects of Imperial society. The Inquisition, Librarians, The Commissariat, even as fodder to keep the God Emperor alive. The Imperium would be lucky to have such a powerful and stable magical platform as ponies! With the Elements of Harmony they might even seal away the Eye of Terror! Uh Boy....So there you have it....I could go on forever about this topic....Neat work!.....Have Fun!

Assumming that they didn't immediately go for Exterminatus. After all, not only are mutant xenos witches, but they're proposing an alliance. Noxenos would be so forthcoming if they weren't up to something! And they praise this "Celestia" as if they could be so mighty as the Emperor! And there is a Lord of Change that has them "friendship"ing them? What is friendship? It rhymes with worship! By the Emperor... Heretic Mutant Xenos Witches! QUADRUPLE HERESY!!! I will come back with Ogrin, and Rattlings used by The Imperial Guard in older incarnations of the game. From my studies of the 40K history (I own and have read almost every Black Library book published to date. Every rule book since the 1994 Rouge trader version...Whats so bad ..I still can't play the game to my satisfaction. Even owning a Dark Angel Army that is just a few short of having a full Legion) ....The Great Crusades tried to unify the lost planets before the Heresy. The Imperium could not have lasted or reunified if a "shoot first ask questions later" attitude prevailed initially. (The Astartes were not just Butes...They were the best and the brightest of human kind).. And who is not to say Celestia and or Luna did not communicate with the Emperor at the establishment of the Astronomican. I've been reading and mildly participating in WH40K since 1989, and have several of the older Codex's. From these I still believe that several of the "evolved" races found at that time were not only used by the Inquisition, but were approved to be part of the Inquisition. The Assassins guild has four different races alone, with Psychers both registered and unregistered. I see your point in most of your argument....but I just had to say....Have Fun! While I must say this is a VERY bad ass image, but I dunno know why but the whole MLPxWH40k cross over just seems silly to me. An this is coming from the guy who likes Fallout Equestria, and even that is silly. But I guess with the WH40k one, there is just the level of how even the original concept is just eye rolling, or maybe that's just me.

You say that it isn't unicorn magic that she's referring to, but I find that idea interesting! That it would be a reason to have a big hat on just to hide one's horn
I read some of your replies and I'm starting to understand the picture now, which is hard if one's not into warhammer.
However... the composition! It's marvellous! The line of action and Twi's head being in front of the sun, the movement and posture! The background encompassing the view, ermahgerrrd it's amazing!
That's without mentioning the details on her costume. this is so awesome it's at the limit of my comperhension
