There are actually two mistakes in the formulae on the blackboard:
- The function f(x,y) on the left should be exp(xยฒyยณ), not exp(xยฒyยฒ).
- On the right side: 1/x = xโปยนย is not -1xโปยฒ= -1/xยฒ .
ย I think what you mean is:ย d/dx (xโปยน) =-1xโปยฒย .
