Description
This is a little gem ive been working on for quite some time. Its a leman russ, but its a more "modern" version. I used the tracks from the Chimera chassis, reversed them, and made the body out of plasticard and bulked the main turret out heavily. This is a perspective shot i did which turned out really well. Sofar, in all the games ive used it in, everyone's targeted it and it has not died once. Aww yeah... <3Related content

Yep i do. And now that i've found a place where i can buy it(here we name it something like "Evergreen Polystirene"... cool name, that's why i was unable to find plasticard on "my" prefered on-line store(it's spanish)... i think i've lost the "panic", and i'm gonna do something one day or another... i have some ideas as of now

Good luck then! Just remember to take your time with it and be as accurate as possible when measuring out your pieces.

I like this design concept... it's hard to work with plasticard?
I have panic to plasticard...

Platicard isnt too hard to use, the main problem you'd have is broken blades. I went through about half a dozen when trying to make the second one of these... >_> Best tip is when cutting out pieces, make sure you compensate for the thickness of the plasticard. Let me explain.
Say, you wanted to make a box without a lid or floor that was 10mm by 10mm by 10mm, and you were using 1mm thick plasticard. You could either cut 4 lots of 9mm by 10mm pieces, or 2 lots of 10mm by 10mm and 2 lots of 8mm by 10mm pieces, and make sure you glue them so the thickness + length of the card will equal the size you want. Bit of a bad explanation, but do you understand what im getting at? >_>

Cheers mate! Im making a second Leman Russ in this style at the moment. Good luck with the Artillery! Just make sure you have some support against deep-striking troops.

Fair enough! Still, a bit of infantry wouldnt hurt, just to tie the enemy up until you can bring your flamers to bear.

Chimera tracks, reversed, custom chassis and a bulked out Leman Russ turret mostly.

You'd have to get in range first.

Funny given the Leman Russ is based on a French WW2 tank called the Char B1.

The B1 is a bit cuter than a Russ, at the very least.

I don't know about "cuteness" but battlefield effectiveness, it's fairly low on the charts, as are many of the early tanks which fit the main gun in the body rather than the turret.
