Description okay kids this was my VERY FIRST!! au based on the foundation //or better being said on the scp:containment breach game
it was called DUOTR or as it's written above 'dangerous and unusual objects and things research'
i didn't come up with a better name

these six were the head of the organization (no 049 because scp:cb was only at 0.3 when this au was being created. and he's also a dangerous object in here)
914 is still a strange young-looking dyed girl and i can't redo her
173 and 106 became the two main objects because they were most dangerous in scp:cb by that time
079 was not in the head of DOUTR for quite some time because of his introvert nature and unwilling to take responsibility (though some of his programming projects became objects in the organization)

and i really don't know why is 682 present
yes he's one of the most popular SCP objects but as a humanized being he's not that useful
it would be easier to keep him in a cell rather then contain his awful temper

Oh, I get what you mean, 'cause SCP-217 is the Clockwork Virus.

No, they're referring to SCP-914, The Clockworks.Β  It's basically this machine that can sort of "refine" things in interesting ways.Β  One of my favorites.

ITS THE PERIPHERAL FUCK
back in 2012/13 when i was busy with this au, lots of stories crossed my mind
i.e. some story where 372 always appeared to tell important things and leave (just like g-man of half-life)
the important things always came true and the head decided to get 372 into the headquarters but were unable to catch him. sad but true

anyway i felt like adding him because of the old stories and also because the player in scp:cb almost always takes the pj with themselves
he's sorta out there all the time

Just curious, in this AU, what of the Scientists? Do they become SCPs DUOTs? that would be interesting to see o3o

I was in a strange phase of my life when this AU was created. i tried writing these stories but after i received a good piece of critique i understood that i need to learn a lot and stopped writing for a while
and then i met a problem of overwhelming humbers - almost nobody had a name but a number of their object
so there's no story actually written down, only ideas

of scientists... i hadn't actually thought of them cuz the au is mostly based on CB and uhhh there's not much scientists in the game except for dead ones and those who talk over the radio
i think if scientists still were in this au, some of them would become objects (perhaaaps)

i remember creating objects-objects and objects-agents
like some objects in this AU became fully/partly human and are agents of DUOTR and some are still dangerous creatures/DUOTs
it also had a system of naming the objects - D for dangerous, U for unusual and so on; an objects could have all four letters in their number if they meet the criterias. for example, 049 is DUO-0049 by that system
the decision whether an object should be an agent or remain an object is spontaneous really - often i just thought over its features and thought if it could do something in the organization
a lot of SCPs remained objects: 087(-1), 049, 895 and so on. although in one of the stories 049 got his mask removed after an accident and became somewhat - i dunno - tranquil? so they used him in emergencies when an urgent surgery was needed; yet he still retained his ability to [REDACTED] people by touching and make [EXPUNGED] out of them. at the same time 500 is humanized as a doctor with an ability to instantly heal one person once in a long period of time (around two months). when no one needs his treatment, he transfers the healing into a capsule (similar to 500-1)
