Started off with a M1 Abrams sketch (No particular variant though, need to do a bit of research to differentiate the M1A1 and M1A2.). Then worked slowly through making what appears to be a decent background with some lighting effects.Edit: Some lighting and turret issues

90% of the difference between an A1 and an A2 is all on the top of the turret. (change in .50 cal mount / for the hunter killer package) Also some changes to the back of the hull that you wouldn't see from this angle.
Overall the A2 is better / faster at finding and killing other tanks at a longer range vs. the A1. (more computer tech)
As for your picture, the gun tube us at an uncommon angle. Its a tad too high for Sabo ammo unless at very long range. Or not high enough for a HEAT round to fly. Also as a reminder the gun tube will be shorter while firing as it recoils in the turret of the tank.
Also one too many headlights on each side. One would be a standard headlight and the other just a small rectangle for an IR light.

I have little experience with Abrams, that's why i decided to start off with the simplest, vanilla Abrams XD
Shall give a try at the newer upgrades packages some day

I'm starting to love those layer blending modes in SAI, gives pretty effects that are harder to achieve with regular layers. X_X

He mentioned that it was due to the dog's house/gunner sight been on the wrong side. xP Which somehow made the CITV looking off.
It's actually on the right side, but I did not added enough lines to make looking like it is in.

It is on the right side of the turret, figured out that I missed some lines that would make it more anchored into it~
