Description
Just a quick doodle to practice myself at inking faster. Surprisingly, I didn't used the shift click method for the M4 carbine this time, all freehanded!Related content

God..... I hate you so much. ;_;
You keep getting better and better and I am starting to get rsut on my hands. I want to draw sexy gals with guns so badly. T_T
Looking great man. Now you can draw guns without "rulers". Is there a limit to your abilities? Keep up the good work.

Dem limits, always to be found and overcome with any method at hand! X) Freehanding it was also made easy since I was already familiar with the AR-15 layout from the start, I had more trouble with the other firearms I drew earlier~
Skeeeetch panz, that's the way to go

The KAC RIS seems a bit too long, but that AR is very impressive for free-handed.

Cheers mate! I would usually spam the shift key to get perfect straight lines, but all the time before I ink a sketch, the weapons are always free-handed.

As an army brat, I commend you for making the title of the piece the motto of the U.S. Army.
Everyone seems to know the motto of the U.S.M.C., but comparatively few know the motto of the U.S. Army.
Well done. Β Β Β Β

Yes, very nice details and congrats on the free hand
A thing to note for future stuff on detail, for the non-dual hand fire selector, the side without the switch has a notch in it so you can see the fire mode selected from that side too: i579.photobucket.com/albums/ssβ¦
The notch is usually the half the radius of the pin surface in a triangle/wedge/pie slice shape.

The M4 is a beautiful weapon, mixing mobility with accuracy.Β Don't know why anyone would hate a weapon as versatile and deadly as the M4, which sacrafices firepower for accuracy and versatility.Β Nice pieace, btw. Β M4 is my baby!Β Army, hooah!

Define gruesomely dirty. It's been stuck in mud andΒ dropped in that fine moon dust that likes to stick to everything if that's hat you mean.

Hmm, in my cases, it's thanks to the shitty georgia sand that gets stuck in your mag and goes straight into the chamber. Without clp, no problem, However eventually you need clp, at which point the damn bolt starts getting stuck on the compilation of grimy sand that keeps getting in.Β

Ah Georgia, I remember that place. Yes I would agree with you there. The sand and clay was just shit most of the time.

Haha cheers man! Had to set some stabilizers on and tweak the lines with the free transform tools at times though.
The rotate canvas options in SAI are lovely, just like a real sheet of paper where you can turn it until you find the right angle for certain lines. X)

Ah yes, the branch of the service I have contemplated joining after college. My life has felt idle since graduating high school with not a lot of feelings of accomplishment and or fulfillment. This figuring out my place in the world. I have been thinking I need something that goes a step beyond what the BSA (Boy Scouts of America) did for me before going onto being a history teacher or any other occupation a history degree may help me with.
Drawing a whole assault rifle freehand, dang! Shows just how much you have progressed. Hmm, only Semi and Burst fire on that M4. It would seem that model does not encourage an all out "Rambo" style of shooting. : P

I always drew firearms freehanded with a pencil~ It's simply the fact that straight lines are fairly challenging to do digitally if you do not hold shift while relying the dots. xP

The last time I drew something for fun in pencil was when I had the idea of a WW2 game in Battalion Wars style . I drew then during my freshmen year of high school.Β
