Correct. He knew that the Franklin Badge deflects special attacks like lightning, so in order to completely escape PigFace's (Porky) control, he must have thought, "the only way i'll truly break free is if I don't go on living. I have to die here and now!", so he fired one last attack at his twin, knowing about the Badge, and fired using the last of his powers. The lightning struck the badge and hit him, signaling the end of his own life, so everyone else could go on living, trusting the fate of the world to Lucas.
This is just my way of seeing the reasoning behind Claus's suicide. Whaddya think?

yeah.... in 2001, I lost my eldest cousin to suicide after 9/11 happened and after Thanksgiving. I was in the 2nd grade, and I don't have any clear memories of him, but he loved kids and his cousins a lot. I just wish I could remember just one thing about him... just one experience from when i was a little girl.... I miss him...

It's okay.... his parents now have 2 grandkids and a Shiloh Shepard (they're huge... like wolf huge... I'm 5'1" and he comes up to my waist!) named Manny. Β Honestly, my theory I made up off the top of my head, and it seemed logical enough.

True, but it would be cool if the Masked Man was in Brawl, since he would be the only person so far who didn't attack with PSI powers, but with a sword and lightning attacks. ^.^
Nice picture, though. Their poses look a little stiff, but I get the emotion in the piece.

BTW, if you're a Smash Bros. fan, Claus is technically in Brawl as an alternate costume for Lucas.
