Description
So as I mentioned briefly the Slaugh have a tribe of bestial humanoids. This is basically a merger of the draegloth and ettercap and the stats when I get around to them would probably demonstrate that. They aren't infernal and possess no magical abilities as a whole. They are however very competent in the art of camouflage and stealth tactics. Thus many a false rumor has been made that say they can actually turn invisible. In the Ashen Waste the Weaver found a tribe of beastmen. With power and guile she brought each pack in turn under her sway until all Draugr answered to the Slaugh.
The spinnerets in the chest alongside the smaller more dexterous arms are used to weave a variety of items that aid the Draugr in hunting and survival. Using their sticky silk and the surrounding environment a competent Draugr can weave camouflage cloaks. Such an item can grant a +4 circumstance bonus to Stealth checks when worn in the appropriate environment; they can be worn over armor but impose an additional -1 armor check penalty. Such cloaks can sell for 50 to even 200 gold depending on availability. The Draugr can often use similar weaves to conceal items or doors, in which case it will typically add +5 or more to the Perception check DC.
Sticky webbing can also be gathered in bags for the equivalent of a tanglefoot bag. They can also be placed in specially crafted leather canisters and utilizing a sticky glob on the end of the long silk cord used akin to a grappling hook to traverse difficult terrain. Some may even use these swing lines in combat to drag a foe into danger or pull them off their feet.
As Draugr can naturally create these swinglines they often use them to drag unwary prey closer to them or straight up to hang uselessly in the air while they dispatch other prey.
Silken clothes and armor is also made by the Draugr for their Slaugh allies and a Draugr artisan is used in the creation of a Slaugh Husk Suit.
While allies to the Slaugh, the Draugr still live in separate 'nests' placed away from Slaugh settlements and heavily trapped. Though loyal to the Slaugh, the Draugr tribes still fight among themselves. Thus most tribes swear loyalty to only one Slaugh settlement lest they be forced to work with another tribe.
Ritual scarification is common among them and almost all take a venom etched brand on one shoulder to show loyalty to their Slaugh. Similarly a Slaugh that takes a brand of a Draugr tribe is always a member of that pack and can count on their aid in any circumstance.

Oh my god, that is so cool! o.0 The image is very much how I was imagining my Draegloth, with a few extra bits (the spinnerets in the chest as a use for the smaller arms! Brilliant!)
I really like the detail on the "closest/largest" arm and hand! The asymmetry of the digits really works here. The blue tattoos are a nice touch.
The fluff really shows the synergy between the two races and, wow, such possibilities in a story... interesting to read about a brand that binds them together and actually keeps them reliable.
I'd actually say this is more creative than any fluff I've read for the Underdark sourcebooks. As usual, the biology almost seems plausible, form equals function (my mantra!), and this really makes a small part of a fantasy world seem whole and vivid for a moment. Very nice work, 'Bob.

Yeah the large main arms are very much the rough manipulation/ claw attacks. The Draugr could probably also knuckle walk like a gorilla when it needs to really move quickly.
I didn't want to use the term Slaugh House for describing their society since I think the Slaugh fit more the clan/tribe mentality. They've done a lot of discarding of the 'nobility' that the Sidhe retain. Still need to further explore how Slaugh interact, etc.
I always like to make some sort of sense in my fantasy as you know. Sure I don't mind some off the wall things, but at the end of the day it has to at least follow some form of logic even if its self-contained game logic.
