Description
The striker of the Cryptid Pirates. He joined the crew due to Blackdog being strong and adaptable- being protection against enemy pirates that threaten his tribe of Hippo Minks. He is surprisingly a good family man and worked as a circus entertainer using the Devil Vegetable he discovered and only left as the Hunter Government mistook his Rubber-Rubber for Nika and went after his place of work and family to lure him out.

Kaba is a content person who likes to eat. While simple he's not necessarily a fool as he figured that his simple Devil Fruit could be used in a versatile amount of ways but also that even if his Fruit is simple- the mere fact that so many hunters went after him meant that it resembles an extraordinary power- which is proven when he compares the description of Nika to what his attackers said it was capable of. While normally a docile and gentle fellow, he can be pushed into anger by unsavory characters who bring out his aggressive, dangerous side that is horrifically brutal and territorial when it comes to food, treasure, and comrades- having a berserk rage and even sadistic side. Earning him the epithet, the Invulnerable Juggernaut of Bloodshed. He doesn't necessarily like this side but views it as a necessary evil to protect others. His unique laugh is Gomu-Gomu-Gomu. In perhaps an ironic yet unironic manner, he becomes good pals with Luffy as Kaba teaches Luffy about the true nature of Nika. He's a rather reasonable authority figure and some of the civilians suggest that maybe he should replace Blackdog as Kaba is 99% amicable with the 1% being brought out in dangerous circumstances while Blackdog is unpredictable in being brutal, pragmatic, or agreeable. He is clumsy and has a running gag of bouncing around uncontrollably when he slips on something.

He has Ruler's Observation/Armament/Conquerors/Realm Haki, Water/Earth/Fire/Lightning Nature Haki, Sorcery Haki, Friendship Justice Haki, Injustice Haki, Mana Mastery, and Divine Haki.

He ate the Rubber-Rubber Vegetable, which grants his body rubbery properties and has awakened to apply this to the environment as well. Applications include binding targets by twisting himself/the environment into restraints, shape-shift his body into weapons, having attacks bounce off of his body/environment, ricocheting across the battlefield as a bouncy projectile, stretching out their eyes to see long distances, rolling up as a ball, retracting his body parts to avoid them being severed, make plastic clones, elongate his body to have it attack strategically from ranged distances as whips or surprise tendrils, being resistant to electricity/fire-based attacks, elongate his jaws to bite with powerful force, elongate his limbs to grab escaping targets/catch flying targets, move through tight spaces, flatten his body to avoid attacks, make himself colossal/tiny in size, move around his vital organs, twist his body to make drills/tornadoes, make himself prehensile in all parts of his body, use his expanded lungs to cause powerful wind storms, etc- all limited only by his imagination. It is weak to bladed objects and the cold and without the proper footwear, he gets weak on dry land.

As a hippo Mink, he can utilize Electro and has trained to be able to use it even during the day due to envisioning the moon subconsciously in his mind. He also has supernatural strength to charge at targets, sink into the water at high speeds to avoid projectiles, swim at blinding speeds, and is very agile.
