Description
The helmsman of the Despair Pirates. He was a childhood friend of Sad after the latter saved him from being taken in by Dregs, with Roderigo being eternally grateful. While he had a successful pirate career, he was framed for Germain's crimes as a violent Fishman and executed for his "crimes".

Roderigo in spite of his intimidating looks, is a kind and pleasant shark Fishman that is easy to get along with. He is also shown to be jolly, laid-back, and a bit of a jokester. He is also honest and well-meaning in his desire to ensure peace between Fishmen and Humans. He is very loyal to Sad due to him helping him out and considers Sad a dear friend. Sad felt the same way, showing uncharacteristic anger at Roderigo's execution for a crime he didn't commit and being framed as a monster to frame the Fishmen in a negative light. He got along well with Bonbe in spite of being on opposing crews.

He has High Advanced Observation//Armament/Conquerors Haki, Water/Ocean/Wind Nature Haki, Sorcery Haki, Divine Haki, Balance Haki, Crazy Haki, and Mana Mastery. He ate the Base-Base Vegetable to be able to increase his baseline power to compete with powerhouses of the verse.

He is a skilled user of Fishman Karate/Jujutsu and as a Great White Shark Fishman, he is much stronger than the average Human, can swim at blindingly fast speeds, regrow his teeth, electroreception, blood sense, water sense, and night vision.
