This is how I imagine he could look on Agents of SHIELD. I tweaked my earlier design and made it more painterly and hopefully more realistic.
In the show, I think his character would be all about anonymity. So he wouldn't show any skin. And probably would use a voice scrambling device that kidnappers in movies use. That way, when not in his suit we would have no clue who he even is. There could be a scene or two where he vanishes into a crowd by removing his mask and stuff.
This could also benefit the show by not having to use a specific actor, or if needed they can easily recast him. Or say the studio wants to use
I'd also am trying to add elements to this picture to make him seem more blue collar. Dusty fabric. Dirty, mud, shoes. etc. Because he isn't in this to take over or using twisted reasoning wants to save the world. For him its all about the money. There is a comic where he is working for Hydra, paid to launch a bomb, but refuses to because he is getting paid much more to not by Musty Knight. I'd love to see that happen in the show. Anyway, I don't se him using a fancy colorful shield, just a gray one. No fanciness to his uniform besides the helmet which is a skull just to be scary. While most of his costume is dark, his vest is sort of orangish-tanish. So enemies will, without realizing it, be drawn to shoot there. Especially in darker lighting.
I'd also be disappointed, maybe, if they didn't use his memory loss. He can mimic and remember any opponent's fighting style but can't remember his past. If Finesse is his daughter, his name, can't retain anything besides fighting skills in the long term. He is like a DVR, once the space is full things start getting deleted to make room for new things, and his mimic skills are set to do not delete. Sort of like the movie Memento or 51st Dates, his memory issues could be really interesting on the show. And I'd love a fight scene where he uses moves from Black Widow, Cap, or Hawkeye, or Thor, etc, to show he has fought them in the past at some point. Also would be cool to see him fight May. Have her say something like,"So you know Black Widow's moves? Well I trained her." Or something along those lines.
