Arani and Amo are conjoined alien twins of a strange plant race. (All pronouns are acceptable when referring to their gender, as they technically have none. At least, not in the human context.)

Just as a minor bit: You mention camels storing water in their humps, but this is actually a myth. They store fat in their humps instead.
