I use a 50/50 blend of Super Sculpey Beige, and Super Sculpey Firm (gray). ^_^

I'd start REALLY CHEAP. Just try using elastic cord to stretch through the limbs. Kinda. People want custom dolls/action figures, but they want them for under $50.00.

There are two kinds of ball joints.
Ball and socket joints which are hinged joints. And basic Ball Joints which consist of a tight elastic cord stretched through the hallow center of the doll.
