Description Musical Inspiration

A point commission/arttrade piece done for .

She asked me to draw her OC Yamerra fighting some shadow demons. So after about 12 different sketches, I came up with this.

I kinda went overboard on the effect shading in this piece... But, I guess that's just my way of saying sorry for making you wait so long for this.

I had alot of fun making the blade for her scythe arm. I'm not really sure what kind of blade that really is? But all I know is that it looks totally epic!

I probably spent about 13 hours on the background alone. I'm getting better at sharper detailed backgrounds. ^_^

I'm so glad that you liked it! I put alot of effort into making it, and I did my very best to show improvements on the background. ^_^ I rarely use that shading style that you see on her, because it requires so much effort to make it possible, But you can't argue with the end result.

Creepy picture, requires creepy music. And that song is just perfect.

but this one turned out awesome, don't ya hate that sometimes, when you think you got it rite and then you find a mess up. At least its all on digital, lol, when your drawing a pic on a paper, theres never an undo button even though you want one

I just have more control with an actual pencil than a tablet pen. So I do all my sketches on paper first, then I scan them, and do everything else in Photoshop. ^_^

It does get a bit tedious after about 5 sketches, but in the end it's all worth it.

Well, I've got a ton of ref sheets to do, so I'll probably do some work on them. I've got 7 Dark Injections to do as well, all of which aren't even sketched yet.

i love it. my Mythology Teacher is probably my favorite out of the ones i have right now. ^^ this is his 2nd semester teaching. he is funny, sarcastic and keeps you awake. ^^
