This is the first thing that occurred to me when I saw the Nightmare Freddy FNAF 4 teaser.

The first panel makes me think of an animation I watched not to long ago. I've have no idea if you've seen it, but in that animation Foxy reeeally hates the flashlight. 
Nightmare Freddy is absolutely a horrifying creature. I think your version of him managed to capture certain aspects of that freakiness. For example those mini Freddys despite looking more simplyfied, looks just as creepy as their game counterparts.

I understand this comic is a whole Gremlins reference, but I couldn't help associate the last panel with Pokémon too.

Yes, I've seen that animation. "He's the night guard!" "No, I'm pretty sure that's Freddy." "See, two Freddys!" "Cool." "Oh my God, Bonnie, I will slap you!" "Sweet, succulent, double-A BATTERIES." That's the funniest FNAF animation I've ever seen. And, yeah, I was thinking of that when I drew that second panel.
Nightmare Freddy is truly horrifying. What kind of sicko would construct that thing? And have you seen the new teaser on his site? It looks like another version of Freddy has been nightmared up. Gahhhhhhh.
When I drew that last panel I was concerned that people would see it as Springtrap sneaking up on Gold Bonnie. I guess the obnoxious arrow made it clear enough what was happening. I've never played Pokemon, but it's been drilled into my head from so many directions that that connection has occurred to me too.

Holy crap!! While I don't find this one as nightmare inducing as the other animatronics Scott have showed so far. It certainly did piqued my curiosity of how (I guessing it's supposed to be the nightmare version of Fredbear) this animatronic might look in the game since this teaser is only showing its jaw and part of the abdomen with another set of teeth.

I can't speak for anyone else, but personally I didn't saw the last panel as Springtrap sneaking up on Gold Bonnie so I believe you've made it clear enough.
I understand what you mean by that. I think it's sort of like how FnaF is now. It's hard to go anywhere on the internet without stumble upon it one way or another.
