Description Previous:   Next:

Here's installment of the comic that started out as outtake reel for Requiem with a Birthday Cake and since devolved into any dopey FNAF gags that come into my head.

The "glitch rabbit" minigame in FNAF3 puzzled me for a long time.  What's happening there?  What's that glitched-up rabbit supposed to represent?  This is my own interpretation.  For all I know others may have come to the same conclusion; I don't do a lot of research into fanon.

If it seems a bit farfetched that a video game would contain a message about redemption, think about the man who created the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

lol this delicate balance between playability and metaphorical importance could very well be where Scott is heading with his games!

I'm thinking that it's shadow Bonnie, but it's not confirmed.

I believe that Shadow Bonnie is a red herring.  But I could well be proven wrong.

I heard about that theory too. It’s been circling down the internet for a while. Theories whether The Purple Man is capable of feeling remorse or not, as well trying to make sense of Glitch Bonnie’s existence in the quest minigame (Some say that it’s Shadow Bonnie, but I don’t know).

It would make sense if it was the killer’s soul or at least his very torn and twisted conscience (Because of how torn and all over the place the Glitch Bonnie seems when it moves around.) that desperately tries to be freed from his undead existence.
By making the ghost children get over their painful memories through the action of giving the spirits the cake that he as the Purple Man once denied them by taken their lives.
However, by constantly fighting his depraved wishes for carnage and “kill for the thrill” desires makes the path to redemption much harder for him to even possible achieve it.

It would be interesting if Scott proved that interpretation of Glitch Bonnie's existence to be true, but we'll just have to wait and see until then.

I’m not sure if BOB in this case pretends to not get what the Marionette is trying to tell him or slightly aware of it since from what I understand BOB’s very self-absorbed and dense yet not completely a moron. And BOB is also very set in his ways that he refuses to excuse his actions (except if it’s about Fredbear) or even pretend that he holds any regret for that matter. It would just make him look like a sappy fool that he's not.

I guess I’m reading waaay too much into this right now, but that’s how I’ve interpreted your Purple Man so far.

You've got a pretty accurate picture of my version of Professor Plum.  I think that, being human, he is capable of all human emotions, but considering his personality it's not bloody likely he's going to have a change of heart unless...well, I don't know what it would take.  It's probably a better idea to hit the reset button on his soul by reincarnating him as a feather mite or something.

That said, I have an idea involving a change of heart, that, if I draw it, would be AU as all get out, but it would be fun to draw and would probably send half the commenters running for a box of Kleenex.

In this comic, BOB is completely missing the point.  He's looking at the game on a purely literal level.  He understands that the Puppet is saying that the glitched rabbit is him, but as for the message of the game, it sails completely over his head, not even getting entangled in his damaged ears.

I don't know what to hope for as regards what Scott will reveal in upcoming games about this.  I'd love to be proven right and I'd hate to be proven wrong.  I wouldn't mind my stories being proven AU, but then I'd be enduring endless foolish comments by "that guys" who insist on pointing all my grievous errors without looking at the upload date to see that I'd made this before the fourth game came out.

He he he! “Professor Plum” Now I can’t stop picturing Springtrap dressed up in a purple smoking with a same colored top hat and a little monocle to top it all.  Clueless Professor Plum, at your service!

That’s cool! If you ever decide to draw that AU it’s going to be interesting to see how it’ll play out. And I’m not the person who cries easily, but I’ll keep a tissue box nearby just in case.

Doh! I take back some of the things what I wrote before; He’s a complete blockhead and a dingus.
And the message flew away free as a balloon.

Yeah, it’s a more likely scenario. First a daffodil, then a feather mite, but what next then…? I bet 1 dollar that in next cycle he’ll end up (if possible) as a rock. Because he sure has the same intelligence as one.

Whatever it might turn out to be, it won't go unnoticed.
I can only imagine that comments like that would be very tiresome in the long run.
And yeah, it's kind of disappointing there is an info section that offers information about the art in question or dates when it was uploaded etc., but some users don't really think about checking it out.

By the way! Maybe you've already seen it on Scott's site, but it seems that "Terrible things comes in small packages."

No, a guitar.  On camera 6 (I think) of FNAF3 you can see an arcade game machine with Bonnie on the side of the cabinet.  I was copying  that.

I had the Atari 5200 cersion, which had a very interesting bug.  If you quit while X*Bert was on a flying disc, in the next game the pyramid would appear to be in the same place, but in the game's mind it would actually be higher than it should.  You couldn't play a game like this, but it was fun and weird.

Odd but nice bug! XD My sister also was obsessed with the Nintendo game Marble Madness. She was good at it but watching her play was hysterical... She would yell at the falling marble whenever it left the edge of the maze.

Ha ha ha!  I play Odin Sphere, a positively beautiful game.  But it has one huge flaw: when there's too much going on on the screen, it...slows...down.......amazingly......................

I've been known to swear like a sailor when this happens.  Seriously, Atlus, were you thinking that that's acceptable?

Oh how your interpretations of the characters bring me joy! I just want to know how the heck Springdong found the games, and slightly more importantly, how the puppet made them... I mean, sure, "ghost in the machine" seems to be taken literally, but that's taking even the literal thing past my understanding!
