Say bye-bye to James, AKA Mr. Lovely Locks. As some of you may have guessed, his design is basically a gender-flipped me. Not that he's intended to be a self-insertion; when I started drawing "Requiem with a Birthday Cake" back in '15 I was very insecure about drawing...well, everything! I simplified matters by using myself as the model for the guard; that way I could do poses and expressions in the mirror. As for his name, before I started this arc I asked my mother what names she and Dad had thought about in case I was a boy. The first one she mentioned was Scott. Um, that wouldn't have worked, for obvious reasons. The second was James, and I liked that. Then I explained that I was not planning any lifestyle changes; this was just for a character. Heh.

There's no chance of getting a room at one of the con hotels; those are booked solid literally a year in advance. However, you can get a hotel in the subburbs that is much more reasonably priced and MARTA in. If you do happen to come, please let me know! I'd love to see y'all again!

It seems ironic in a way. For Springtrap to just completely give up on trying to escape. That’s what he has been trying to do this who time, but his reason makes sense.

Originally I had it scripted that Springtrap would make a dash for the door, then stop in his tracks when he saw nothing outside. Literally, nothing. Then he goes back to his chair, saying that there's nothing for him out there. But it makes more sense for him to come to that point without having it mooshed in his face.

Aww, Bob. That speaks out for the growth of his character, I really love how you handle all of them. Its such a joy to read and the story feels so tangible for them. (not sure if thats the proper words to use, but it just feels so solid. Its a good thing
