I get the feeling this isn't the last we've seen of BOB though. Being in the same room with all the talk and feelings around must've been pretty uncomfortable for a douchebag like him that maybe he'll probably need to go and "vent" his discomfort (through anger and spite) somewhere.

The child Nightmares' innocence protects them. The Freddles are energetic and playful no matter what, and Plushtrap is a furious little ball of energy. It's the "adult" nightmares that hold the suffering.
