Description Woo, first shitty tutorial. Cx Sorry for the wall of text. ._.

Only other thing I can think of is make sure to follow the starter pattern if you want to make your Fakemon seem official. All grass starters are reptilian. All fire starters are based on the animals of the Chinese Zodiac. All water starters are aquatic animals.

Quick correction: all grass starters are based off of ancient reptilians and water starters are semi aquatic creatures.

Besides Gen VI, which didn't follow the Fire and Grass patterns. Also, not all the grass starters are ancient reptilians. Bulba family look more like horny toads, despite the -saur suffix. I will give you Chikorita's family as ancient. Treecko fam= geckos. Turtwig fam= tortoises. Snivy fam= snakes.

I'd edit it to say semi-aquatic, but this is an old, ollllld tutorial of mine. xD Maybe I'll redo it someday.

Still, the Gen I line is more closely based on armored dinosaurs. And I forgot about Chespin, which could easily be seen as one of the early mammal. Snivy is based on evolution itself. And Treecko isn't always a Gecko, obvious due to Sceptile's appearance. And there are many ancient tortoises, although some opt to ignore that part.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing a tutorial of my own after a while. After I finish up finding that 'just right' style that each artist has.

Chikorita is not a reptile, and Treeko is a gecko, which I'm not sureif it is a reptile or not...

Chikorita, Bayleef, Meganium=dinosaurs (Specifically, apatosauruses)
Pretty sure dinosaurs are reptiles.

And yes, geckos are reptiles too.
