Thank you Riki. I like the way you describe the colour palette. Yes , I like a restricted palette - sometimes mild, sometimes dramatic. 
I think that restrained colour palette creates a strong atmosphere .

Yes. It was in the back of my mind to not make the atmosphere too bright. I wanted a kind of "weak sun" . You said it very well "cold October sun" . I have experienced a cold sun many times . I am pleased and yes you're right, fantastic musical accompaniment your proposal 'link'.
Is that the music you hear while painting. Then I also understand why it will be such beautiful paintings.

Yes that ( my link - Sokoloff, Francis Goya etc) is the kind of music I listen to while painting. 😊. George Michael too fits beautifully. ❤ I like his songs. One of my all time favourites is "Jesus to a child". I have a wordless playlist and a playlist of songs with lyrics. 😊

Ah! You are from the Prussian region. . Yes it would be a good idea to grow a birch forest near your hamlet . I have never been to Europe. Only seen it through books and pictures. The land of Birches breathes in my heart. Tell me Christoph, was I able to capture the essence of Prussian, Russian forests ? 😊 . Just want to know. I don't believe in simply copying images. I refer to various elements in a few pictures, to create a composition that I have been thinking about. So tell me, was I able to capture the essence ?
