The shadows create so much interest in this painting. Your values of browns, yellows greens and reds give them a natural depth. Beautiful work!

Hi Neha,

Of course I like your work. Your nature paintings feel very warm and welcoming due to your style and color pallet.

Keep up the great work.

Thank you Riki. I like the way you describe the colour palette. Yes , I like a restricted palette - sometimes mild, sometimes dramatic.ย
I think that restrained colour palette creates a strong atmosphere .ย
Thank you for noticing ย

It's a good idea to use lemon yellow here, it makes feel of cold october sun and coolness of the air and vivify the picture in interaction with warm yellow cadmium.ย

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

nehab16 In reply to ivan095 [2017-10-13 02:22:26 +0000 UTC]

Yes. It was in the back of my mind to not make the atmosphere too bright. I wanted a kind of "weak sun" . You said it very well "cold October sun" . I have experienced a cold sun many times . It is kind of a trance. That is what I wanted to do here. Thank you so much for this analysis. Your words made my day , Ivan ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’

I am pleased and yes you're right, fantastic musical accompaniment yourย proposal 'link'.
Is that the music you hear while painting.ย Then I also understandย why it will be such beautifulย paintings.
What do you think of this music:ย www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPWHkKโ€ฆ also fits well with wine.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

nehab16 In reply to Color3brush [2017-10-12 09:37:14 +0000 UTC]

Yes that ( my link - Sokoloff, Francis Goya etc) is the kind of music I listen to while painting. ๐Ÿ˜Š. George Michael too fits beautifully. โค I like his songs. One of my all time favourites is "Jesus to a child". I have a wordless playlist and a playlist of songs with lyrics. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ah! You are from the Prussian region. . Yes it would be a good idea to grow a birch forest near your hamlet . I have never been to Europe. Only seen it through books and pictures. The land of Birches breathes in my heart. Tell me Christoph, was I able to capture the essence of Prussian, Russian forests ? ๐Ÿ˜Š . Just want to know. I don't believe in simply copying images. I refer to various elements in a few pictures, to create a composition that I have been thinking about. So tell me, was I able to capture the essence ?

Greetings from India ๐Ÿ˜Š
