These are epic. I love how you worked the character's personalities into their designs. Like many of the people who commented, my favorite is Knuckles. Love his dreads! There needs to be more art of him with dreads..cause they're awesome.

Not to sound rude but I hate when people draw the sonic characters as total sissies
They all end up looking the same and it takes away so much character ; A ;
So I wanted to give my best shot at portraying them how I think they should be portrayed.

I dig that the necklaces (in addition to being power rings) double as representing their tummy/torso designs, especially in Knux. I also like how you got Tails' fluffy fur across in the jacket here. Your Shadow comes across as Asian to me, and now that I think of it, it makes sense with him being some sort of J-goth/alt as well as it sort of falls in line with his affinity for gadgets (rocket shoes, weapons, etc...) and driving interesting vehicles. Rouge with emerald earrings, of course. = P

Black Knuckles. YES. I find it so weird when people make him asian or white. Then I yell "ALL HIS THEME SONGS ARE RAP AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE HAS DREADS. REALLY?" The rest if them are drawn true to their original too! Sonic even looks like the douchebag he can sometimes (a lot of times) come off as XD

This isn't ink OTL It's just my pencil sketches with some digital color thrown over them.
That's why the lines are so light and messy.

These are just great. You made each look distinct while still easily recognizable for who they are, and the color choices were very good. Like, sonic having just as much red and white as blue clothing, and the shoulder pads on Knuckles that remind of his digger claw covers. The blue collar, which I feel is great showing that Tails is a hero in his own right, still looks up to Sonic as his idol, and the jewel earring on Rouge. Great touches. Very nice.

I think it's crazy how many people draw him white.
In fact, most people usually just draw all the characters white OTL
