I always found the alien such a complicated creature to draw, so much going on in that exoskeleton, still, a very impressive monster. Nicely done!

i wonder when the concept art was actually done for the game since the contract from Sega came in 2006 you would think that the art would have began shortly after that. it spent so much time in limbo at gearbox i just don't know when they decided to actually start work on the game.

I wanted to bite myself when I realised I missed the chance to see the other concept arts. It was a real d-move on part of your commissioners (Sega or Gearbox at this point? - I don't even know) - and a completely idiotic tactic. It's not like a collection of awesome concept art available on the Internet could make people want to buy their game, right?

gearbox is at fault they used the money sega gave them on BL2 and made some 3rd rate company make the game. I lost all respect for gearbox and hope sega rapes the shit out of the wallets

I wasn't really referring to the terrible state of the game (which is a fact, unfortunately). Neisbeis uploaded a gallery of the concept art he made for the game - and then had to remove it on his commissioners request, because his NDA is somehow still in power even after the game is released. (At least that's what I understood - copyright law boggles my mind.) He comments on this a little here: [link]
