I really don't know if I can explain how I did it. You make a bunch of squares out of the foam board, with the centers cut out. Then you make the bellows out of four long strips of canvas (with the design built in of course) with chalk lines about every 1.5 inches. Cut a wide V out of the tops and bottoms of every other line, and sew the V's shut. I also sewed close to the fold along the same chalk lines so the creases would be permanent. (Do you see in the bottom picture? Every other fold in the bellows has a dart at the top and bottom and then a vertical seam.)  Then sew three of the canvas strips together on the long sides, following the darts, then you cement in the foam board "ribs" along the chalk lines you didn't sew (binder clips work well to hold them in place). At the end you hand-sew the last canvas seam (so make it the back, bottom seam). Thank you so much @_@ I ended up digging through all the WIP pictures you posted and although I'm still trying to figure out every little detail of the construction I know your pictures will surely help

Lol you're welcome, sorry I did want to take more pictures but when I'm working I don't like to keep stopping to take photos.
