holtpont means the point where a process becomes dead (tho it might be revivable). It's the exact moment when you run out of resources, or the period between two cycles or periods of a process, where you can't do anything, just stare. Like, when photoshop is saving, and you just sit there staring.
Or, it could also mean, when you are at work, doing nightshift, and you are so tired, that you can't do shit, but anything you do, you won't get more tired. You are not at the bottom, just at a place, wheer you can't get any lower, nor higher.
