Description This is it.

Your only warning: blood, wounds, and stabbing.

O1 Stage 6 A confusion so thick you forget forgetting: Getting into this album was so hard, I had to literally control my mood to be absolutely miserable. Interesting move I did.
Segment 1 (S.1-6 05:04:32/05:13:10) (S.6 00:00/08:40) (dur.: 08:40)
Empty
Segment 2 (S.1-6 05:13:10/05:20:30) (S.6 08:40/16:00) (dur.: 07:20)
Malicious...?
Segment 3 (S.1-6 05:20:30/05:26:25) (S.6 16:00/21:53) (dur.: 06:00)
Snow...?

P1 Stage 6 A brutal bliss beyond this empty defeat: Listening to this track it felt extremely windy, and ice cold. I replayed "Dear Esther" to get into the mood so that is the inspiration behind the snowstorm. Also, this is the track that sounds just like Stage 5.
Segment 1 (S.1-6 05:26:25/05:31:42) (S.6 21:35/27:10) (dur.: 05:20)
Windy snowstorm
Segment 2 (S.1-6 05:31:42/05:41:32) (S.6 27:10/37:00) (dur.: 09:50)
It's the creature
Segment 3 (S.1-6 05:41:32/05:48:02) (S.6 37:00/43:29) (dur.: 06:30)
Simon down

Q1 Stage 6 Long decline is over: Here Simon clashes with the creature for the very last time before resorting to his ink powers after growing weaker and weaker.
Segment 1 (S.1-6 05:48:02/05:54:35) (S.6 43:29/50:00) (dur.: 06:30)
He's not done just yet.
Very faint memories keep him going
Segment 2 (S.1-6 05:54:35/05:59:40) (S.6 50:00/55:08) (dur.: 05:10)
Battle to the death
Segment 3 (S.1-6 05:59:40/06:05:35) (S.6 55:08/01:01:00) (dur.: 05:50)
Last resort
Segment 4 (S.1-6 06:05:35/06:09:12) (S.6 01:01:00/01:04:39) (dur.: 03:35)
Simon is immobilized

R1 Stage 6 Place in the World fades away: Simon questions reality as it shows itself. Partly inspired by the soundtrack to the game "Everything".
Segment 1 (S.1-6 06:09:12/06:13:35) (S.6 01:04:39/01:08:40) (dur.: 04:00)
...The stab goes according to plan.
Simon begins sabotage.
Segment 2 (S.1-6 06:13:35/06:15:40) (S.6 01:08:40/01:11:05) (dur.: 03:00)
Simon traps the creature into the wound on his left palm.
Segment 3 (S.1-6 06:15:40/06:21:00) (S.6 01:11:05/01:16:45) (dur.: 05:30)
Simon wakes up from a nice dream. A clear and fond memory of his friends. He seems to be floating in a galactic void.
Were all those memories a dream? Was he alone this entire time, his demon being his only companion? This... has been reality, hasn't it?
Without the passage of time, Traves and Evelyn only exist in his head. It's just him.
It's just Simon. The loneliest place he's ever known.
Segment 4 (S.1-6 06:21:00/06:24:15) (S.6 01:16:45/01:19:40) (dur.: 03:00)
Gathering enough courage to finish what he set out to do, he raises his sword to his bandaged arm.
By stabbing the curse siegel underneath the bandage, the creature should be successfully restrained.
Ready to do the final act, he--
Segment 5 (S.1-6 06:24:15/06:30:31) (S.6 01:19:40/01:25:57) (dur.: 06:00)
The rescue was sudden. Simon floats heavenwards with his dearest friends Traves and Evelyn.
Indoing so they left mementos behind. Their suffering was not in vain.

*inhales, exhales
Whoa. Alright, some explanations.
So as mentioned before, I had to FORCE myself to feel despair in order to illustrate Stage 6. But after O1 was done, the rest became easier.
We start with Simon in the inner vortex, the creature took advantage of the snow to have ice cube hands which knocked Simon in the head.
He removed his monocle because he couldn't open his damaged left eye, fought the creature until he decided to pretend to surrender.
The open wound bit is just a function of my original story. In order for entities to enter a person's mind, there has to be an "opening".
Simon's element is ink, and the creature is a grinning ball of yarn that was DIPPED in ink. He grabbed the line and sucked the creature into his palm.
With little time to process what just happened, it is hinted that we're inside Simon's head. No one is there but himself.
He looks at his left arm and see that the creature is sealed. His curse siegel, covered by the bandage, prevents it from taking over his entire body. He was about to stab his curse siegel when he was suddenly called by Traves and Evelyn.
I guess whether or not Simon stabbed his curse siegel is left ambiguous. In the end, the creature is captured in Simon's left arm.
Effectively making the creature a tangible version of his curse siegel. I as creator never untied his arm bandage to see how his curse symbol looks like. Oh well, it didn't matter. The creature is his curse now, this ink-soaked ball of yarn with grinning teeth.
He has this new perk now where he has a grinning left hand. He and I find this very amusing to have.

Welp, that's all the stages. There could be more EATEOT tributes, but not that many. If I do get to them.

Thank you very much for following me, and Simon-Traves-Evelyn trio in our journey of understanding The Caretaker's Everywhere at the End of Time, visually deciphering the progression of dementia. Live the life, life is good.
