You sure about that? To this day I don't think I can call myself an artist. I did not take drawing classes.

i have a question.
what are the canon characters' names there for?
for example, is the first row the characters they'd get along with most/are most similar to?
and are the second row of canon characters the bosses that kill them?

I do not understand the placement so here is explanation for all rows:
First - Fan-given names apart from canon names Frisk and Chara. Debby and Gabby are supposed to be next to each other because they're similar. Same goes with Hunts and Bucks. Originally it was Hunts as the second human and Gabby as the fifth. They're switched to promote the unisex positions.
Second - I see second and third as closely-related, like Sans and Papyrus, because of their purpose. Light blue for not moving and orange for moving. I feel that Sans and Papyrus relate most to these personalities. Dark blue is heavy, unforgiving and rough like Undyne. Purple is sensitive, gullible and creatively inspiring like Alphys. Lastly, I see the pan-holder (Green) much like Toriel because of similar attacks. The seventh human (Yellow) shoots flowers outta a gun, and this is a great connection with Asgore.
Third - What I as a fan believe the genders of the six humans are based on all aspects. If it's unisex, I can see both genders playing the role, because there are no restrictions. Rule of thumb means that that gender is strictly linked to the role mostly because of how the items are named or the nature of the items themselves. Process of elimination leaves Green to be female because there are more guys. For me, there has to be equal amount of girls and boys.
Fourth - These are the monsters that provide or utilize the humans' souls. For instance, Papyrus and Sans' special attack is the same nature the fourth human has, the same heavy and unforgiving condition, the blue heart gravity enforcer. Finally, Muffet, Undyne and Mettaton/Alphys provide you the purple, green and yellow condition respectively.
