(sorry about spelling errors, I made this very late last night)So, this little comic came about when I asked my friend (who owns a couple of turtles) what turtles looked like without a shell. He replied "they look dead". He explained to me that turtle shells are connected to the spine, so they can't be removed.
Then last night I was almost asleep when I realized "Woah, then all the TMNT OCs who wear clothes have removable spines?!" And I just had to draw this! Besides, Tick Tock really is self-conscious about the way she looks (she really wishes she had hair...)
Sorry if this offends anyone! I'm not complaining about anyones OCs...in fact, I think the TMNT OCs I've seen so far are really awesome!
Rose-Blossom Raven Desiree Hamato is not a real OC, I just made her up for this comic. Yes, she's supposed to look very Mary-Sue-like...and no, I didn't base her off of any existing OCs! If she happens to look like your OC in some way, I'm sorry and I did NOT intend to do that.

They don't exist: But in order for a turtle to change clothes like most OCs do, they would have to remove their shell/spine to do so, thus killing them.

I want a removable spines! that would help when my back hurts
well. about the clothes, most tutle oc owners (talking about me ofcourse) try to design clothes that can work with the shell... but its more frequently used the idea of the clothes using hooks or other things that can be attached to the shell.

I just put clothes on over their shells but I have seen drawings of Tmnt fancharacters with clothes put on in an impossible way, maybe they don't have to remove their spines, maybe they glue the clothes on?
It seems like a lot of trouble to remove your spine just to put clothes on, If I were a ninja turtle I'd not bother with clothes! This is funny! You should use fake OC Rose-Blossom to point out things that ninja turtles cannot do!

Awww...I think Tick Tock is cool in her own way, she's very unique! There are too many pretty female turtle OCs. Haha, but I have one and I just kind of ignore the shell sometimes because I wanna put clothes on her.
