Personally, I think having 4 street fighter characters and 4 dark stalker characters is a bit much (I even think MvC3 had too many of them and they could have used more variety). I'd like to have Albert Wesker (though I can do without Chris Redfield, but that's just personal taste) and Mike Haggar back, as well as Gene from God Hand and maybe a Monster Hunter. We can even use a monster from Monster Hunter as the final boss. Of course we need a Megaman on the roster (though Capcom apparently doesn't think so), and if we want to be very idealistic, I'd like Saki from Quiz Nanairo Dreams back from Tatsunoko vs Capcom (although a bit more balanced of course). Oh, and don't worry, Felicia and Morrigan should undoubtedly stay on the roster too (I would even prefer Cammy over Chun-li in MvC4, though I'd think it be funny if they brought in Decapre instead just to annoy people). For the Marvel Side, having Squirrel girl (that one guy in the other comment mentioned her) might be fun, and Rocket Raccoon returning with an updated, more Groot-filled movelist would be cool.

Swap Arieta for Jin in my opinion but still you have Captain Commando so I love this list. Same with Gambit.

Those are some very nice and interesting choices of characters from both sides you were able to pick out for sure, man.

I would have included Mega Man, Roll, E. Honda, Zangief, Blanka, Dhalsim, Dee Jay, Balrog, Vega, Sagat, M. Bison, Akuma, R. Mika, Karin, Alex, Elena, Ibuki, Dudley, Hakan, Rashid, Laura, Haggar, Cody, Guy, Sodom, Poison, Hugo, Rolento, Hsien-Ko, Anakaris, Sasquatch, and Unknown Soldiers.

Interesting selection. Nice to see someone remember Powerstone. Also good to have Talbain and Juri rather than the over used but less interesting characters from their respective franchises.
I'd be a little concerned the Felicia + Tigra and Chris Redfield + Punisher would turn out too similar (could be DLC skins).
I feel the Capcom side needs more big-guy characters and Marvel needs more villains.

Not too familiar with him. I only know of normal Venom.

The original Venom sold off his symbiont and tried to get clean, but an encounter with a dodgy faith-healler led to his body producing a new creature that weakened other near-by symbionts. Looks like a pallet swap of the original. Several other folks have used the first one now.
