Description (WARNING! Please do not fave or comment here. If you would like to then please do so at the link [link] I reuploaded it on my new account!)

The first Twilight book summed up in one drawing, as well as the personalities of Edward and Bella. Did Edward mention he was dangerous?

I can't believe some teens are calling this crap the next equivalent Harry Potter

the only people who'd enjoy this are woman who devour romance novels like no tomorrow, anyone who considers themselves emos or even likes emos (which is NOT a good thing), and anyone who's obssessed with fanfics done by middle school girls cause that's what the story is like, A FANFIC just without any fandom to whore to.

excuse me while I go watch Buffy and enjoy seeing some vampires get the shit beat out of them

Twilight and characters belong to Stephenie Meyer
art belongs to me

Ha ha so true. There's no real chemistry at all. The only reason Smeyer got popular is because it fills some emo girls wishes. Seriously they need to get over it. I feel insulted as a teenage girl by this book. It probably set back feminism by a century or more.

Even though I love Twilight, this is hilarious, and EVERY point is valid. I can't help but love it-- as a girl, I am entitled to love Edward to some degree... even though they ARE both very mary-sue-ish. This made me smile XD

this is hilarious (: i also can't believe that it's called 'the new harry potter' . it SUCKS. she writes like a tweleve year old. harry potter is loved by a wide variety of ages and actually MALES too! only teeny bobber brains-for-mush highschool girls like twilight. gay guys may be an exeption but other than that...

yeah anyway- this is great. i love bella's thought bubble.

This Whole anti-twilight and twilight lovers thing is kinda wierd. I mean everyone is entitled to thier own opinion. Some people might have liked the way SMeyer wrote the Twi series and some people might have read better. I have read both the Twilight Saga and the Harry P. Saga and they are too different to compare. Its like comparing a James Bond film with a Disney film. Ok, Wait, bit too exxagerated but you know what I mean. I also think Twi haters shouldn't stereotype all Twi fans as wierd screaming teenage girls that faint at the word "Edward". I'm a Twi fan but I also enjoy browsing through all the Twi "Hate Art" because I respect other peoples opinion. Everyone views the English Language differently so you know they are entitled to their say.

And I'm sorry that I sound like I'm ranting but I havn't wrote a long comment in a long time and all the comments on this page kinda urged me to do so.

And by the way the art work; you got Edward and Bella dead on.

-Words of a Non-obsessed Twilight and Harry Potter Fan.

I love love love Harry Potter, but I also loved the Twilight series, in different ways.
Harry Potter has better action, but sucky romance. Something about Harry and Ginny being together didn't sit well with me. That's just me though!
Twilight has good romance and sucky action. I like the moral in the story.

Personally, I kinda want to see Severus Snape sparkle. LOL

Let me correct you on this:
Edward does have other emotions.
Stephanie Meyer is not 14 years old, and not Emo.
There is nothing wrong with being Emo.
This is a bad drawing.
The rest is in fact correct, but you're a terrible writer. Stephanie Meyer is a great writer, and I believe you are just jealous. Any questions?

👍: 0 ⏩: 8

MoxieCrimefighter4 In reply to Layzor [2009-08-09 19:59:53 +0000 UTC]

Here, I'll correct that for you.
-Edward has no personality and is a Mary-Sue (normally, I'd say he's a Marty-Stu, but Edward is a woman).
-Stephenie Meyer may be over 14 and not Emo, but she still can't write.
-This drawing is actually good by cartoon standards and is a lot better than yours that look like they were made on Paint.
-Yes, the rest is correct, but this isn't a novel. There was no writing talent required. What was written in the drawing is better than Meyer's work. Stephenie Meyer is a talentless hack who should be arrested for raping literature. Most Twilight fans are idiots because their only argument is "You're youst jealous!" Jealous of what, may I ask? You mistake jealousy for pity and ridicule.

Layzor In reply to MoxieCrimefighter4 [2009-08-09 22:24:38 +0000 UTC]

Ok, thanks for Your opinions on Twilight. The reason my drawings look like they were made on Paint is because they were made on the Paint equivalent for Mac, also known as Paintbrush.

RoseDaughter In reply to Layzor [2009-04-11 15:13:09 +0000 UTC]

OK. Let me set you straight on this. In New Moon, how can you not say that Stephenie Meyer doesn't write like an emo? She turns Bella into some spineless, weak, selfish emo jerk who has gone completely catatonic and ignores her so-called friends and cliff-dives and does other dangerous activities just to hear a hallucination.

Stephenie Meyer does this to the stories:
-gives it 1-D characters
-turns love into obsessive stalking and lust
-uses purple prose and unnecessary polysyllabic words with little care to the usage
-gives it no/minimal plot consisting of romance, Bella swooning over her Eddie, and a rushed, poorly depicted sequence of events near the end that's supposed to be a plot
-turns the "hero" into a stalker figure, complete with total relationship dominance, window-watching, etc.

P.S. There's nothing wrong with being genuinely emo; I just have a problem with the stereotypes. Plus, you ever heard of satire? Guess you haven't read Voltaire then.

Persnicketese In reply to Layzor [2009-03-30 03:48:18 +0000 UTC]

Let me correct on you this:
Edward is still nothing more than a glittered up blow-up doll for women.
Stephenie Meyer writes like an emo 14 year old.
There is plenty wrong with being emo.
This is a satire piece and not meant to be the Mona Lisa.
The and how can you say he's a bad writer next to thesaurus humper Meyer who improperly uses words?

And who would be jealous of an Mormon woman who used Twilight as an excuse to live out her vision of how her life should have been?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Layzor In reply to Persnicketese [2009-03-30 22:03:54 +0000 UTC]

Let me correct you on this:
Not every one loves Edward. I am one of those people who don't.
Maybe you think she does.
I never said it was like the Mona Lisa.
What is wrong with being Emo?
And please give me an example of usage of improperly used words.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Persnicketese In reply to Layzor [2009-03-30 22:37:08 +0000 UTC]

Let me correct you on this:
I never said everyone did.
I know she does.
Nope but you equated this as it was supposed to be a great piece of art when all this picture was is a satire piece.
A lot of things are wrong with being a scenester emo.
She describes Edward's skin as being incandescent which is more colloquially used with emitting light. I somehow doubt Edward is a lamp.
