when Twilight was released into theaters it made a "groundbreaking" amount of 36 million the first weekend... 
when Harry Potter was released it made 96 MILLION dollars in it's first weekend.
These are real statistics, I looked it up. I think that's enough for a Twilight fan to shut that irritating hole on their face.
