I didn't know.... i swear i didn't know... please... come back.... I'm alone without you girls...after i watched the last ep, there was something really bothering me... the main one that you can see, is that she can live for almost forever... so i decided to draw a sad picture.... i'll admit i was trying really hard not to make it cute, so here is a sad picture of twilight...

To be honest I am actually a little suprised how many bronies think that Twilight is going to be immortal. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just that I don't see the logic in it. I mean of course, Celestia and Luna have lived for more than a thousand years, but there's Cadance, who probably has the same lifespan is other normal ponies. Also, this "Twilight is immortal, and she's going to outlive her friends" thing is just seems to be way too tragic this show. After all, it wasn't made for adults now was it?

soooo many questions:
1) ya i know the logic isn't fully there but Cadance actually has lived for a long while. think of two things that were mentioned. she looks after the crystal ponies(that have been hidden for a 100yrs or so? then we look at the marrage ep. where Celestia said to them when they were being wed "to Mare and to foal" this may have been a mistake instead of saying stallion but meh
2) Twilight might not be immortal it was only a thought that truthfully won't happen in a children's show(think of the parents!) but we can still make up stories here on the computer and internet about such things. its interesting :3

Yeah, I've read about that Cadance could be older than we think, but my theory (or headcanon I don't know how should I call it) is that Cadance is a descendant of the former rulers of the Crystal Empire. I mean she does look like a crystal pony, and her cutie mark is the crystal heart, and when she recovered the crystal heart, one of the ponies said the she is the crystal princess so...
Yeah. I hope that it makes some sense.
And yes, bronies can make up stories, I'm not even against it, after all, some of the most heartbreaking and most beautiful fanfics are created this way

We do not know enough to assume that Alicorns are immortal. I do hope that Season 4 will clear up a lot of the mysteries surrounding Alicorns. also we do not know how long a regular pony lifespan is, looking at Granny Smith, she must be at least 100 years old if not older.

that is very true, most 'horses' can live up to 30 years, and become old at 15. ponies almost have the same life span(i'm a vet tech
