Holy Shit!
Scary, creepy, freaky, different, but astounding in level of detail!
You sure know what you're doing

That's very cool. The shine gives it a moist, amphibious appearance.
It looks like its skeleton is too big for its body.
I think I'll download a demo of this zBrush.

The great thing is, I actually know what ZBrush is, having seen it used at a place called Siggraph.
So I have a very, VERY, vague inkling of how this was done. Very nice.

How on earth was this done, looks awesome. Haven't used zbrush - is it harder than max?
It reminds me of a cover of one of the Asimov books I have (save it was a robot). The textures are great, slick look suits alien skin really well

Zbrush is really really wierd, its more like working with clay then a traditional modelling prog like max, but its pretty easy I guess...
thanks for the comment and fave

Yeah I just had a crack at it. It's an enjoyable program - I like the way it works, though it was a bit confusing in the beginning.

Well done! Z-Brush is a very cool program once you get the hang of it.

very authentic...it looks alien yet not one of those retched clean blue semy transparent types!
this one actually looks like as if it CAN be real!!
I love the resemblence with a marmosets...though he looks somewhat wisend almost like a century old sage!
good work mate! keep it up!

thats pretty cool. did you sculpt it from scratch in zbrush, or did you import in a mesh from a 3d package and kind of work into it?
