Prostitution - the world's oldest profession. Amirite?
Decriminalizing the sex industry would create safer conditions for the workers. Legalizing it would protect people in the sex industry from violence and abuse. It would be taxable. More money for the government. Puts law enforcement resources to better uses.Template: [link]

I think that legalizing it would likely bring STDs to more attention, especially since it would probably be considered a risk in the workplace. They'd be forced to protect against it, like how construction workers are required to wear hard hats

I actually whole-heartedly agree. If it was run and legalized, there would be far better working conditions than there are now, and I'm sure it would be far more cleaner than it sometimes is.
Not saying that all prostitutes are dirty, by no means, it's just they get abused, my teeth grind when I see abuse in any form.

Hmm... this is the first thing I've seen on DA addressing this. I saw it and first had the biased reaction most people probably will, "what the heck? That's ridiculous" but as I was about to hit the "Remove from messages" button, I thought about a song I listened to recently, "Perfect Gentleman" by Wyclef Jean, and I kind of got what you are saying. I mean, I don't agree with your opinion (no offense) but I do agree that there are sensible arguments for your side of the issue. I like your stamp a lot.

I once saw a video where there was a place where prosititution was legal, and they were actually very well off. They were protected by the police and chose how far and whether or not things went. Ex. they could just have dinner together, or go all out.

That's awesome, do you by chance remember the name of the video? Here in Australia, prostitution is legal inside of brothels - they can even claim condoms on their taxes, haha.
