The common concepts of God are iffy, but I do see evidence of something present in our universe. The Big Bang, the blanket of space-and-time, gravity, the invisible force which binds our molecules together, all the alternate dimensions, consciousness and life itself, ect.Β The evidence is all around us.
None can deny that this universe was created and is being influenced by something which we cannot see, but is very real. And the fact that all animals and humans have an instinct to seek this thing (being or otherwise) seems to hint towards something.

This is precisely what I think. ^^
I don't know what it's called if it's a specific religon, but I happen to believe there is some....oh, how to say......Β presence of power that controls existence and life. If that makes sense. I think I'd like to call it the 'Universe Spirit'.
Don't want toΒ start an argument or something, though. Just wanted to put in my own say to this, thanks. ^^

Well, science. I guess..
We all came to birth when the big bang happened.
Jesus would've come back by now.
Is there even any evidence if God does Exists?
If Adam and Eve existed, we all would be related blood like in a way, and most of us would be white. (No offense)
If Jesus is/was destined to come back to Earth one day, why doesn't he just come now? I mean, our life is already...errr.. Screwed.
They are my reasons <->. Derp. IΒ mean no offense in this.

Considering the best scientists of all time were also super religious shows science and religon can coexist perfectly.
The Big Bang was actually disproved a while ago
See answer at bottom
Yes, for example: the earth itself. It is in the perfect place to support life, if that wasn't intended by a higher power jam it is a truly insane coincidence. That is another reason the Big Bang theory is faulty, it requires too many coincidences for it to actually make anything.
We already are technically, even if we came from monkeys we would be related by blood. The other skin colors may have resulted from humans going to other parts of the world after the fall of the Tower of Babel and the climate changing their skin. I must point out we don't know what skin color Adam and Eve had, they may have been white, black, or whatever. I personally like to think they were tanned, and as I said before the places their descendants went to determined how their skin color changed. They got paler as they entered some areas, they got darker as they went to others etc.
That's one of the big unanswered questions of the Bible and I have no straight answer to that. That said, things are as bad as they could be, God/Jesus could be waiting to iniate the end of the world when things get truly terrible.
No offense taken, those were all excellent questions. Thank you very much for being so polite and courteous.

I can't prove a negative. That's like me asking you to prove that magical flying unicorns don't exist.
Because you and other believers are the ones making the claim that God exists, it is up to you to provide proof to support that claim.Β

That dosen't make you any less of a hypocrite. If you don't have proof, when we don't need to show our own
Besides why bother giving proof if your going to reject it anyway? We have our proof, we just don't chatter about it since showing it off has no purpose. Haven't you noticed how most Christians stay quiet in conversations like this? It serves no purpose arguing with someone who does not share the faith.
I'm just an exception to that, I'm an idiot who doesn't know when to shut up XD

I'm going to give you a hypothetical situation to illustrate this situation, using your logic, by putting you in my shoes:
-I have a claim: "There is a dragon in my garage."Β
-I support my claim: "I have my proof that there is a dragon in my garage."Β
-You can't prove there isn't a dragon in my garage.
-I am not going to share my proof with you because you can't disprove my dragon.
-Therefore, you are a hypocrite.Β
Does that follow logic when we flip our roles here? Or does it seem 'off' to you in any way?

I am not here for any arguments, and I am sorry if it even remotely seems like I am trying but I was going to ask or anybody else who would like to explain this? I am fully understanding of the point of not believing because there is no evidence, but isn't that exactly what belief is? If I am not mistaken , a belief is to put faith into something's existence. If fact I took the time to look it up on google for the definition, ((By typing in "definition of belief", gives you a grey box of the definition without clicking any of the actual links, this is what I am going by. )) I am a little confused at the point of why people would ask for 'proof' for a belief, because frankly it seems a tiny bit daft of that person. Unless of course I am wrong on this definition of belief entirely. Personally though, I am atheist, and though there are plenty of arguments saying that if it's a 'belief' or not, I do not BELIEF in god. Just in the same way that I don't believe in fairies, I was raised that way to think like such. If I didn't explain deep enough into the previous sentence , I am saying that I don't believe in these things because I just Don't. Not because there isn't proof of it's existence. Β Β

This!
I love when theists try to turn that principle around and say that an atheist has to prove to them that their god doesn't exist, disregarding the fact that atheism is not a belief but the absence thereof.

Here's my take.
I don't necessarily require evidence for every single claim made. What I do is grade the validity of the claim with the following criteria:
1. Does it seem likely or plausible?
2. Is there evidence to back it up?
3. Do I care, and could this affect me or my intellectual honesty is some way?
4. Does this person have a reason to lie, or do they have a history of lying?
So if someone claims they did something rather mundane and common, I'd most likely believe them, because 1) it doesn't affect me and 2) it's plausible.
If someone did something a little more uncommon and it seemed a bit unlikely, I'd probably still believe them, because 1) it doesn't affect me and 2) the event probably could have actually taken place. But I'd probably still ask them for a bit of evidence.
But when you get to something like religion, I'm going to request that you provide a ton of evidence backing up your claim. 1) Such supernatural things, like a talking snake, that I've never witnessed anything like are incredibly unlikely to have actually happened. 2) No religion has any proof. 3) Religion does affect people and would affect what I consider reality.

Agreed.
As I told a priest after my grandma's funeral "If a doughnut appeared for every man, woman, and child on the earth (no matter where they were and what they were doing, it just pops into existence) and they were able to enjoy that doughnut without interference from medical conditions, other humans, etc. If that happened, I would believe in a god." I don't think several billion miracle doughnuts would be too hard and yet is sufficiently amazing to be called a miracle.

And you wish to test the power of god by demanding a second? Have faith my child, if you get one then in the afterlife you will get more than you fill!
Promises, promises, promises. Its always the carrot after you die. And people wonder why I dont trust them. At least the Church of the Subgenius gives you triple your money back in case of dissatisfaction with the afterlife and a "Get out of Hell free" card in case you were wrong. Christianity offers no such reassurances.
