Description
I was strolling through some stamps earlier today and came across this by ~Starlow-FTW :I read the first couple of lines and was thinking to myself, "Hey, that's not bad!" But upon reading the final line I had to wonder to myself... If we're supposed to be taking personal responsibility for our actions.......Then why throw that in there?
Why say that we cannot blame one particular supernatural being for something because we must take personal responsibility, only to substitute it for another supernatural being?
So, I figured I'd make a stamp for those who might agree with my assessment of that stamp's message.
That being said, I expect you all to be mature adults (or young adults, teenagers, whatever) and DO NOT harass people... Everyone has the right to believe what they will, and if you disagree, do so in a way that won't paint you like a frothing-at-the-mouth lunatic.

"I shot two people and then ran over three kids while driving drunk... OF COURSE! SATAN MADE ME DO IT!"
And that's "Personal Responsibility", ladies and gentlemen.

Oh yeah... There was a pastor who got in trouble a few months ago... I think he beat up his daughter or something? Then blamed it on the devil. Yaaaay.

I remember reading that paritioners were shocked that an ex-convict pastor would return to his violent, criminal ways.

...and then they blamed it on Satan. Classic!

Damn Satan for being more active in people's day-to-day lives than God is apparently!

You know, it seems like Satan's the one who actually cares.

I mean, let's look at the bible. Who's raining terror and all sorts of punishments on people all the time? Yahweh. Who isn't fucking with people's lives for the hell of it, and has a record of zero calamities designed to kill people en masse? Lucifer.

Yes, quite palpable.
Although, I do not agree with the vice-versa result of that by saying everything good came from "God."
I will do my best to contain the questions I have about such knowledge regarding these biblical characters.

I share your disagreement about good being only of God.

I think that we need to be careful about who we blame and always immediately blame humanity for anything bad that's happening because it is most likely our own fault that they're happening anyway.

I think we can agree on that!

If we can blame onto supposedly real supernatural beings I'd like to place all of mine on Slendy.
His tentacles compelled me to do drive cars into malls.
