Description
Hey everyone.Sick of hearing ignorant people equating Muslims to terrorists. I know it's a result of the events of 9/11. But there were terrorists before 9/11. There will be terrorists in the future. Stop implying that terrorists are only Islamic.
Case in point: Anders Behring Breivik. The Norwegian guy who killed 77 people and injured upward of 100 others. He is a Christian extremist. He's a terrorist. A Christian terrorist.
Just sayin'.
Edit
Just going to throw this out there: from 1980 to 2005, the FBI Database shows that Islamic-based terrorist attacks on US Soil made up of only 6% of all terrorist attacks. Jewish extremists made up 7% of those. Juuuuusssss sayin!
Edit Edit!
I'll just say this once: saying that I'm defending what terrorists do - ANY terrorists, is pathetic and childish, and you should be ashamed of yourself for being so.
Messages like "I'm afraid of all Muslims" just prove how much people would rather allow their fear to overcome them instead of actually EDUCATING themselves. Yes. Muslim extremists flew planes into the twin towers, pentagon, and into the ground. Yes, thousands of people died. Yes, thousands more have died overseas. I'm not saying that any of these things are good things. And I'm most certainly not defending it. And if you think I am, you're seriously deranged.
The point of this stamp was to point out that we shouldn't fear Muslims as a whole because of the actions of a few. Just the same as you don't fear Christians as a whole because of the crusades, or as you don't fear democrats as a whole because of organizations like PETA and ALF. Clearly you missed that.

I decided to re-make this stamp to make it a little visually appealing less ugly.
The Atheist Atrocities Fallacy - Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot. In Memory of Christopher Hitchens. Β

I don't think anyone says it does, but there are far too many people who try to have you believe that all forms of extremism are as deadly as islamic extremism.

True.
I'm not saying that all forms of extremism are equally as deadly, but what I actually mean by "not give any other forms of Terrorism a free pass" is that no form of extremism should be ignored, because they are still all deadly, albeit to different degrees.

Just because there are some Christian terrorists doesn't mean there all bad.
Same goes with Islamism.

Aaah,
Still, if someone made one that said,"Islamic terrorists exist" it would get so much hate on it.
Lol, it always seems like those type of people that say they're so tolerant when they hate on Christians and stuff, yell and hate on you so violently, but when you comment and disagree with them, one strike and you're out......XD Funny how that goes......

True.
To make matters even worse than they already are, both sides, Crusades-Era Muslims and Crusades-Era Christians, committed atrocities.
War is bad enough. War is even worse when both sides do not deserve to be cheered for.

I see.
But still, the Vikings were barbarians that raped, pillaged, and burned almost anywhere they traveled. It was basically another case of Evil Vs. Evil.

True.
You could say that the Vikings are an example of "Even Evil Has Standards". Granted, that does not justify the atrocities that the Vikings committed, but it's kinda interesting to explore the morals of bad guys.
Learning about the horrible things the bad guys did teaches us not to repeat those bad things in the future.)

Anyone is capable of extremism, for various reasons. The only difference is atheists never committed atrocities in the name of atheism, it was always politics, power, or plain ol' rage.Β

Atheists killed the innocent over BELIEFS.
Christians did the same.
Other 'peaceful religions' did ASWELL! ( I don't see you making a stamp about that.)

Name as many as you want, no one was murdered in the name of atheism but rather competition in power.. Now it might have been my fault that I didn't word this right. Atheism and terrorism are completely separate. Atheism has no specific doctrine, it's just the lack of belief in God. When the religous kill, its usually done for their diety.
For example: the soviet union didnt kill people due to their state sponsored atheism, it because religion was a challenge to Stalin's authority. Stalin had set himself the head of state, children in russian schools were taught to think him as a God. This is common in communism.
