Description Hey everyone.
Sick of hearing ignorant people equating Muslims to terrorists. I know it's a result of the events of 9/11. But there were terrorists before 9/11. There will be terrorists in the future. Stop implying that terrorists are only Islamic.

Case in point: Anders Behring Breivik. The Norwegian guy who killed 77 people and injured upward of 100 others. He is a Christian extremist. He's a terrorist. A Christian terrorist.

Just sayin'.

Edit
Just going to throw this out there: from 1980 to 2005, the FBI Database shows that Islamic-based terrorist attacks on US Soil made up of only 6% of all terrorist attacks. Jewish extremists made up 7% of those. Juuuuusssss sayin!

Edit Edit!
I'll just say this once: saying that I'm defending what terrorists do - ANY terrorists, is pathetic and childish, and you should be ashamed of yourself for being so.

Messages like "I'm afraid of all Muslims" just prove how much people would rather allow their fear to overcome them instead of actually EDUCATING themselves. Yes. Muslim extremists flew planes into the twin towers, pentagon, and into the ground. Yes, thousands of people died. Yes, thousands more have died overseas. I'm not saying that any of these things are good things. And I'm most certainly not defending it. And if you think I am, you're seriously deranged.

The point of this stamp was to point out that we shouldn't fear Muslims as a whole because of the actions of a few. Just the same as you don't fear Christians as a whole because of the crusades, or as you don't fear democrats as a whole because of organizations like PETA and ALF. Clearly you missed that.

I decided to re-make this stamp to make it a little visually appealing less ugly.

So true. Did you know of Joseph Kony? He claims he wants to create a state based on the Ten Commandments. Had he followed them himself (not killed so many people), he would probaly not be searched for by the International Criminal Court because of crimes against humanity. "Case in point:Β Anders Behring Breivik. The Norwegian guy who killed 77 people and injured upward of 100 others. He is a Christian extremist ... A Christian terrorist."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_B… (see summary)

He also states that he considers himself "culturally Christian" but that he has never personally identified as a Christian, and calls his religion Odinism

www.dagen.no/Nyheter/hedning/B…

"Breivik said that Β he 'is not and never has been - a Christian'" Β

"During a point called "Odinisme", he dismisses his Christianity and Jesus as follows:

' There are few things in the world that is more pathetic than the Jesus figure and his message, and I have always despised the weakness and the internationalism that the church represents.'"

"He stressed that he prays and sacrifices to God and receive strength from God, but that he calls him 'Odin, not Jesus or Jehovah.'"

www.vl.no/nyhet/breivik-jeg-er…

To look at him as a Christian terrorist has never been particularly apposite.Β That picture is wrong on all counts and is characterized by people who had not gone into the ideology he put forward in his manifesto"

You were saying?

Interesting articles, and they are a good read, but there is evidence to the contrary:

www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-…

I'm sorry.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Shaunathaniel In reply to ZekeEugene [2017-01-25 02:26:58 +0000 UTC]

That first one is a rather interesting read, but it only really shows how well-versed he is in European/Arabic conflicts, and not that he's a legitimate believer of Christianity. There is such a thing as people who support a religion for its cultural and controversial historic aspects (such as people in the alt-right who like to meme about the crusades), but do not actively practice the religion whatsoever. Β Brevik's religiosity is similar to this if taken to the extreme, since his concerns are not religious but ethnic and political. He only describes himself as a "militant Christian" in the BBC article because Christianity is theΒ traditional religion of his ancestors, while picking and choosing dogma from that belief if in order to justify his extremist actions. Β

Sorry famΒ Β

Except the Quran literally advocates for Muslims to kill people.

Christians don’t tend to use the Bible to justify their crimes that much. Plus, the Bible doesn’t say that Christians should go around killing people.

You made quite the false comparison.

Pretty much, yeah.

Hey, Christians. God once order a man to kill his son, ruined another man's life just for a bet (which he shuns in the Bible), and pretty much says "WOMEN ARE HERE TO STAY IN THE KITCHEN" all over it.

So...

Yeah, most people only consider you a terrorist if you either a) employ some form of explosive, which is actually understandable, or b) you're two crazy people who say that they're part of a terrorist organization from the other side of the ocean.

(Seriously, why do we believe crazy people with guns when they say they're part of a terrorist cell? They're just crazy people with guns! It doesn't matter what they say as they're being shoved into a cop car; it's just crazy bulls**t.)
